We’re at that mid-point of fashion month, where we’ve seen the stunning (Givenchy), the cerebral (Gucci), and the sexy (Fausto Puglisi), but what we all really need right now is a nice, long, giggle. Enter the comic relief, Jeremy Scott. Never one to take himself too seriously in the oh-so-serious work of high fashion, the designer presented his Moschino collection on Thursday in Milan in a makeshift carwash. No, that’s not a typo. Let the giggles ensue.
With the theme of carwashes and construction—think, hard hats, caution tape, and street signs—the hotly-anticipated collection ran the gamut from construction worker-inspired neon skirt suits, to colored car wash chamois-inspired fringes. Call it…Home Depot chic?

But the accessories, those are always a trip. Here are the most outlandish ones and—we’ve got to say it—they make us smile. Now, isn’t that what fashion is supposed to do? Tell us what you think of these!
Construction cone cloche, anyone?
This peplum is quite possibly the chicest tool belt we ever did see. Shall we begin shopping at the Home Depot?
And to match: a metallic tote, complete with a set of tools for your every Ms. Fix-It need.
Thought: Taking your road test would have been way easier if there were clutches involved.
And if ladylike shapes are not what you were looking for, there were backpacks abound, like this caution-tape style.
