Blac Chyna Puts Rob Kardashian Drama on Hold to Flaunt Her Curves in Skimpy Two-Piece Outfit

Blac Chyna isn’t letting her legal drama with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian keep her from having a good time.

The reality star, 29, stepped out Monday night to host an event at Ace Of Diamonds strip club in West Hollywood.

Chyna wore a bedazzled two-piece ensemble that showed off her slim waist and a hint of skin on the midriff. After recently sporting a rainbow wig and a wavy blonde bob, she wore her hair in a chic lime-hued lob.

Inside the club, she gave fans a head-to-toe look at her outfit, taking a Snapchat video to show off the night’s look.

RELATED VIDEO: Blac Chyna Speaks Out About Legal Action Against Rob Kardashian on GMA

The outing comes after Kardashian’s social media rampage against Chyna on July 5, during which he repeatedly shared graphic and expletive-ridden content about her on Twitter and Instagram and accused her of drug use, alcohol abuse and infidelity.

In response, Chyna retained high-powered civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom (Walter Mosley is co-counsel) and was granted a set of restraining orders against Kardashian — he was ordered by a judge to stay at least 100 ft. away from his ex and is banned from posting personal photos or information about her and her children (King Cairo, 4, with ex Tyga and their shared daughter Dream Renée, 8 months).

In an interview with ABC News that aired partly on Good Morning America earlier this month, Chyna said she was “devastated” by Kardashian’s actions.

“How could somebody post these pictures of me?” she said. “This is a person that I trusted. I just felt betrayed.”

“He doesn’t respect me,” she added. “So if you can’t respect me, you have to respect the law.”

Though Kardashian, 30, has been mum since the tweet spree, a source close to Kardashian’s famous family told PEOPLE last week that the reality stars are “deeply disappointed and frustrated with Rob.”

“He’s made a difficult situation even worse,” said the source. “At this stage, the primary concern is protecting Dream from all this nastiness.”

Family Drama, Donald Trump & That Voicemail: 9 Best Jokes from Alec Baldwin’s Roast

Family drama, embarrassing moments and political views were all fair game during Alec Baldwin‘s Sunday night roast at the Apollo Theater in New York City.

Baldwin, 59, braved the hot seat as a lineup of his costars, family and friends honored (and poked fun at) his career during the taping of Spike’s One Night Only: Alec Baldwin, which will air July.

The roster of roasters included Still Alice onscreen wife Julianne Moore, real-life wife Hilaria30 Rock cast mates Jane Krakowski, Tracy Morgan and Jack McBrayer, and, last but not least, daughter Ireland — who addressed her father’s infamous voicemail rant.

Former president Bill Clinton also made a surprise appearance, introducing Baldwin with a heartfelt speech.

“I think I’ve figured out what has made him both a great actor and a great person: He has genuine interest in other people,” Clinton said in his closing remarks. “When you look at the sweep of his career, you see a man with enormous talent and a heart just as big.”

With Oscar, Tony and Emmy nominations, Baldwin has more than 100 credits to his acting career, with roles in iconic films like The Departed, Beetlejuice and The Hunt for Red October.

Seeing as the actor’s most recent scene-stealing role was as Saturday Night Live‘s President Donald Trump stand-in, a portion of the night’s jokes were aimed at the current White House administration. The majority of the evening’s roasters have been open about their anti-Trump sentiments, including Robert De Niro, who famously called him an “idiot” pre-election.

FROM PEN: Learn The Process Behind Selecting TIME’s 100 Most Influential People

Baldwin’s younger brother Stephen, who has vocalized his support for Trump, was not in attendance for the taping, resulting in a pointed jab from brothers Billy and Daniel, who quipped that Stephen was “on guard at Trump Tower.”

Here are a few more of the evening’s very best zingers:

“I wouldn’t know an alternative fact if it hit me in the face.” —Bill Clinton

“I loved working with Alec — it was the first time I wasn’t the craziest motherf—er on the set. Now I know white people families are just as f—ed up as black people families.” —Tracy Morgan

“The best part about being married to a man Alec’s age is the sex lasts two hours: an hour and 58 minutes to walk up the stairs and two minutes of sex.”—Hilaria Baldwin

“In Glengarry Glen Ross he played a smug a–hole and he’s never broken character.” —Robert De Niro

“You obviously have a lot of friends. They just couldn’t be here tonight.” —Jack McBrayer

“I don’t know you that well. My publicist told me to be here.” —Jane Krakowski

“Yes, I’m Ireland. And I’m a Baldwin. I can’t remember which ones are on speaking terms.” —Ireland Baldwin

“If you work with him, you are guaranteed to win an Oscar. His mojo is so strong, I wouldn’t be surprised if this year Melania Trump walks away with Best Supporting .” —Julianne Moore

One Night Only: Alec Baldwin airs July 9 at 9 p.m. ET on Spike.

‘Casting JonBenet’ Trailer Is An Uncanny Mix Of Documentary And Drama

“I’m auditioning for the role of JonBenet Ramsey,” says a child actress in the trailer for Netflix’s upcoming retrospective. Innocently dressed as the 6-year-old pageant star, she asks, “Do you know who killed JonBenet Ramsey?”

In “Casting JonBenet,” which documentary filmmaker Kitty Green debuted at Sundance earlier this year, actors from around the Boulder, Colorado, area where the Ramsey family once lived ostensibly audition for the roles of various players in the unsolved murder ― including JonBenet’s parents, Patsy and John, and her brother Burke. The actors are also asked to share their personal feelings on whodunnit as they recount details of the case. In the trailer, their voices are woven together into a darkly entertaining narrative marked by swirling suspicion.

“In cases like that, it’s always somebody you know,” one actor muses.

“I think he’s the innocent one.”

“There’s no way a 9-year-old could pull off a murder like this.”

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the full film also asks the actors to share meditations on why the murder still seems to resonate with them so many years later. They’re not the only ones who can’t let it go ― reflecting a nationwide fascination with the morbid story, the film follows several other projects that aired last fall around the 20th anniversary of JonBenet’s Christmas 1996 death.

Catch the full trailer above. “Casting JonBenet” debuts on Netflix April 28.

First Nighter: Henrik Ibsen’s “Peer Gynt” Jacked Up to Today, New York Neo-Futurists Attempt “The Great American Drama”

About Henrik Ibsen’s picaresque, not to say meandering, Peer Gynt, a friend of mine insists he’s never seen a successful production. (He claims the same about Thornton Wilder’s Skin of Our Teeth.) I can’t really recall ever seeing a go at Peer Gynt that satisfied me, either.

What I can now declare is that I hope I’m never again exposed to anything approaching the Peer Gynt revisacal–at the Mezzanine Theatre at the spanking new A.R.T./New York Theatres–that I disliked from its first ear-splitting chord. It’s a sky-high-decibel travesty perpetrated by Michi Barall, who wrote the update, Paul Lieber and Matt Park, who collaborated on the music, and Jack Tamburri, who directed and “originally conceived” the ill-conceived enterprise.

To be completely accurate, the Ma-Yi Theater Company undertaking is called Peer Gynt and the Norwegian Hapa Band. The brash Norwegian Hapa combo is arranged on a raised level behind the floor playing area where the seven troupe members unleash their acting when they do or don’t put down whatever instrument he or she plays.

The sounds they produce can be termed heavy metal or punk or grunge or call it what you will. I know what I’d call it, but cooler impulses prevail. Let’s just say you’ve heard it all before over the last few decades with nothing new added. Incidentally, they do work in a few licks from Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt musings.

For those who’ve been spared Ibsen’s take on Norway’s venerable mythic figure, Peer (guitar-playing Park) is a fellow uncertain about his goals and from the git-go at unpleasant odds with haranguing mother Ose (keyboard-playing Mia Katigbak).

To find himself and also hoping to find a mate, he sets out on a journey that over the years takes him many places but is ultimately a can’t-get-no-satisfaction trek. Since the clangorous Norwegian Hapa Band is not there for nothing, one of Peer’s first modern-day aspirations is to be a rock star. No surprise there, huh? Before and after that there are other stops and other dalliances, such as one with taunting Ingrid (violin-sawing Angel Desai).

Perhaps the most annoying aspect of the Barall-Lieber-Park-Tamburri assault is the incessant use of obscenities. (For the moment set aside the repeated employment of “awesome,” the favorite adjective in today’s television advertisements.) The creators might argue that were Ibsen writing today, he would have made free with the four-, seven- and 12-letter words.

No, he wouldn’t have, not on this sophomoric (and soporific) level. A determined social critic, he wouldn’t have played down to the level at which this Peer Gynt is pitched.

For the record, bassist Uton Onyejekwe, drummer-mandolinist Titus Tompkins, keyboardist Rocky Vega and bandleader-guitarist Lieber are the other performers doing their damnedest–perhaps too much–to rustle up hotsy-totsy theater. What they’re doing, however, isn’t quite deft enough. Meredith Reis is the set designer and Oliver Jason the lighting designer.

Asta Hostetter is the costume designer and runs up a rock-star suit for Peer that has some spark and several va-voom outfits for Desai to fill seductively. Chad Raines is the sound designer, and, boy oh boy, does he have a challenge that he meets as well as he can.
******************
The Great American Drama isn’t a bad idea. Created by Connor Sampson, co-directed by Greg Taubman and written by Sampson, Nicole Hill, Dan McCoy and Katy-May Hudson, it’s a product of the New York Neo-Futurists.

In a way the title tells you everything you might want to know. The ensemble intends to present the best drama they can. The manner is which their aim will be accomplished is through including everything they’ve learned audiences expect as superior fare through surveys they’ve held–right down to puppets.

What ensues as they run down the long list of requirements–at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre/A.R.T. New York Theatres (see above)–is a series of skits involving romance, thrills, chills, you-name-it (which those surveyed have already done for you). The catch is that the skits aren’t nearly as amusing as the hard-working performers think they are.

At the end of the 90-or-so-minute show–after all the projections have flashed, filling in the dramaturgical requirements, and the puppets have been manipulated–the four performers ask if they’ve reached their great-American-drama goal. They receive a very strong rating. Only a small number of the audience members, including this one, demurred. So you can take it from there.

Drama and Pride in the Gateway City

By 1964 the storied St. Louis Cardinals had gone seventeen years without so much as a pennant. Things began to turn around in 1953, when August A. Busch Jr. bought the team and famously asked where all the black players were. Under the leadership of men like Bing Devine and Johnny Keane, the Cardinals began signing talented players regardless of color, and slowly their star started to rise again. Drama and Pride in the Gateway City commemorates the team that Bing Devine built, the 1964 team that prevailed in one of the tightest three-way pennant races of all time and then went on to win the World Series, beating the New York Yankees in the full seven games. All the men come alive in these pages?pitchers Ray Sadecki and Bob Gibson, players Lou Brock, Curt Flood, and Bobby Shantz, manager Johnny Keane, his coaches, the Cardinals’ broadcasters, and Bill White, who would one day run the entire National League?along with the dramatic events that made the 1964 Cardinals such a memorable club in a memorable year.

How to Handle Divorced Parents at Your Wedding with the Least Drama

Some of my brides and grooms struggle about what to do with their separated or divorced parents at their wedding. The goal, obviously, is for everybody to have fun and avoid any potential drama. As a wedding planner, my goal is to help minimize it so the bride and couple can really enjoy their wedding. To do this often requires some thought and planning ahead so you don’t have to make any decisions on the fly and risk an awkward situation.

If your parents have been divorced a long time and have a copacetic relationship, you might not have anything to worry about. I’ve seated plenty of divorced parents right next to each other – sometimes even with new spouses all in the same row – and everybody behaved appropriately.

The most difficult situation to handle is a recent breakup or divorce – especially if one parent wants to bring their new partner to the wedding and the other isn’t seeing anyone. It can feel like a total slap in the face to the unescorted parents. In these situations, we often suggest that the “single” parent ask a good friend to be their formal escort. It doesn’t fix everything, but it gives them somebody to dance with and they won’t feel like the odd person out.

On several occasions, we’ve had crazy drama because of moms who just couldn’t handle the whole situation. The emotional stress of their daughter or son’s wedding day on top of seeing their ex is hard enough. But when she has to attend the wedding alone and bitter, and he’s there with his new lady friend or wife, it’s like a knife in the back. Sometimes, they compensate with alcohol.

For just that reason, I know of several couples who have asked all parents to leave the dates at home so as to avoid any controversy. Especially when it’s something rather tacky like Dad and his secretary having had an affair that ended the 30-year marriage. The request may cause drama when it’s made – and your parent may have to deal with a shit fit from his new love – but if you let them know early enough that you don’t want them to bring that guest, there’s time for everybody to cool off before the big day arrives.

I’ve had a lot of conversions with inebriated Mothers of the Bride stuck in this sort of situation. They tend to stand, very obviously, apart from the group, or overcompensate by being loud and joking about their ex’s date. When Dad brings someone like the home-wrecking secretary mentioned above, Mom is DYING because the little twit who broke up her marriage is getting a seat of honor next to the man with whom she was supposed to spend the rest of her life. We had one Mother of the Bride get drunk before the ceremony and spend cocktails publicly begging the bride’s father to reconcile. She had to be taken back to the hotel by the bride’s brother in hysterics before dinner.

A couple of moms have fought back, going after men at the wedding to show they haven’t lost their mojo. I don’t care what they do to torture the other wedding guests (except that it embarrasses their children terribly), it’s actually kinda funny to see these cougars stalking prey that went to college with their kids. But when they go after my husband or my staff, it ceases to be cute. Don’t make me ask you to stop touching somebody after he’s already asked you to keep your hands off. That’s just plain tacky. We’re the help.

You need a plan to keep the unsteady parent on solid ground on your wedding day, or through your wedding weekend. Their best friend is your best bet – and talking to your parent’s bestie about your concerns about drama in advance will help them understand you’re asking them to take on the role of babysitter on your wedding day. The bride and groom don’t have time and really, we’re trying to avoid making bad memories that no one will ever forget.

Also, make a point to ask your friends to ask your parents to dance, especially the single parent. A little extra attention from the guests is warranted if it will boost their spirits and keep them distracted.

Plan ahead for the logical questions that come up when handling divorced parents:

– Who will be walking the bride down the aisle?
– Where will everyone be sitting?
– Who should sit with the bride and groom at dinner?
– Who makes the toast on behalf of the bride or groom?

There are simple answers to these questions, but knowing what you’re going to do in advance makes all the difference.

Walking down the aisle
If the bride wants both of her divorced parents to walk her down that aisle, that’s her prerogative. She might not have planned to do that before her parents were divorced, but if she feels like it’s appropriate given the circumstances, she may do whatever she likes. If she wants her mother to walk her down the aisle while her father sits and watches, that’s okay too. But it’s a good idea to let dad know ahead of time so he won’t be surprised and disappointed when it happens. Lots of girls stick to tradition and walk alone with their fathers.

How to Seat Divorced Parents at the Ceremony
If they don’t like each other and prefer not to be in each other’s company, seat the mom in the first row and dad in the second row. That’s what etiquette dictates. It doesn’t matter if they have dates or not, they don’t have to be seated together. Just fill in the row with their own immediate families.

How to Seat Divorced Parents at the Reception
Unless your parents really are good friends post-divorce, don’t try to seat all the parents at a “head table” with the bride and groom. Just give each set of parents (however many there are) their own tables to host and fill them in with your friends who know them and their friends they invited. That way nobody has to awkwardly tread on egg shells through dinner conversation.

Toasting the Bride and Groom
Traditionally, the fathers toast at the wedding, but that’s not really what happens anymore. More often than not, both parents make the toast together, if they’re still married. When they’re divorced, each should be given the opportunity to make a toast. If they decline, that’s fine. But let them decide if they want to offer their own best wished. If one says “oh we can just do it together,” be sure to check with the other one first before assuming anything. Do this ahead of time so nothing embarrassing happens at the main event.

A word of caution: You have to look out for well-meaning (or pot-stirring) family and friends who may introduce uninvited drama into your wedding. My half-sister tried to cause DRAMA at my wedding reception back home when she informed me that our father wanted to dance with my mother. My parents had been divorced 10 years but it was still very acrimonious. When my sister told me about it, I thought it sounded hinky. So I told her I’d check with my mom. Mom said “are you kidding me?” and I told my sister to tell our father not to ask my mom to dance. Problem solved. Five awkward minute delay in my fun, but nothing bad happened. Funny thing is, when I asked my dad about it a few months later, he said he’d never said he wanted to dance with my mom. He’d gotten his licks in by bringing his housekeeper to the reception as a date just to tweak my mom. It worked. So why was my sister messing with her? Hmmm.

Have a plan for how to handle all the usual things – know if you’re going to take full family photos or do separate sets with both sides of your family. Yes, these things do come up and it’s better to be prepared with an answer to the question when it’s asked. If you can clue in the photographer ahead of time about the potential for tension, they can be more sensitive. Make sure your wedding planner is in the loop. If the coordinator at the church is handing the seating, have a private discussion ahead of the wedding rehearsal. An ounce of prevention is worth the peace of mind you can have on your wedding day.

Until next time, happy wedding planning from Weddings in Vieques and Sandy Malone Weddings & Events!

Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter Official Teaser Trailer #1 (2015) – Drama Movie HD

In this darkly comedic odyssey, Academy Award nominee Rinko Kikuchi stars as Kumiko, a frustrated Office Lady whose imagination transcends the confines of her mundane life. Kumiko becomes obsessed with a mysterious, battered VHS tape of a popular film she’s mistaken for a documentary, fixating on a scene where a suitcase of stolen cash is buried in the desolate, frozen landscape of North Dakota. Believing this treasure to be real, she leaves behind Tokyo and her beloved rabbit Bunzo to recover it—and finds herself on a dangerous adventure unlike anything she’s seen in the movies. With Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter, indie mavericks the Zellner Bros. spin a strangely touching underdog fable, populated by eccentrics and elevated to sonic heights by a Sundance award-winning score from electro-indie outfit The Octopus Project, that will leave audiences rooting for the impossible.

Eckhart Tolle On Why Some People Attract Drama And Conflict (VIDEO)

Do you find yourself attracting unwanted drama? Bestselling spiritual author Eckhart Tolle says you may be the problem.

On their “A New Earth” series, Tolle and Oprah address a question from a woman always seems to find herself in an argument.

“I attract negativity,” Lorraine writes. “It seems that my whole world is one big fight. I just want people to stop instigating fights with me. I don’t deliberately go out and begin conflict but it comes to me. I hate it. I just want peace. What’s the problem?”

“Whatever you experience repeatedly and frequently externally is a reflection of your inner state,” Tolle says. “So you attract certain things into your life that reflect your state of consciousness.”

He advises Lorraine to become more aware of her present state. “Become more aware of what emotion she’s feeling at any given moment,” he says.

“Because Lorraine could not be attracting fights and conflict unless she was emanating that energy,” Oprah suggests.

“Yes,” Tolle nods.

The conversation continues on “Oprah and Eckhart Tolle: A New Earth,” a 10-part series airing Sundays at 12 p.m. ET on OWN.
