Pink Postpones Another Concert as She Continues to Recover From the Flu: ‘I’m Very Sorry’

Pink has bowed out of another concert due to the flu.

The day before her show in Detroit, Michigan, on Sunday, the singer, 38, made the announcement that she has been forced to postpone the Beautiful Trauma tour performance. “I’m not going to be well enough to do the show tomorrow night in Detroit,” Pink told fans and followers in an announcement shared on Twitter Saturday.

“I want to give you all the full show and not be hacking all the way through it and have to cut songs because of my voice,” the mother of two continued, adding that she had consulted with her doctor.

“I understand how much trouble you go to to be at my shows, what it entails, the planning, the schedules, etc. I am very very sorry, and I’m very grateful for your understanding. I will absolutely do this show at a later date, and it will be the full show. Again, I’m very sorry and have tried so damn hard to avoid this. All my love,” Pink concluded her message.

The star previously announced she had to postpone the Montreal show on Friday due to the flu.

“Our entire family has been battling this awful virus/flu for two weeks now, and I have battled my way through these shows because postponing sucks,” Pink tweeted about her first cancellation of the concert series that began in Phoenix, Arizona, on March 1.

“Carey’s been home with flu while me and the kids battle this virus,” she added about her husband Carey Hart and the couple’s children: 6-year-old daughter Willow Sage and 14-month-old son Jameson Moon.

The last time, Pink battled the flu was in February at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis when she sang the national anthem before the NFL championship game between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite getting sick, she still brought the crowd to its feet with her rendition of the tune and was praised by fans on social media, even being dubbed the “real MVP” of Super Bowl LII.

The next stop on Pink’s tour is the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 27.

Newlywed Kelsea Ballerini Wants to Have Kids ‘One Day’ But Will Wait — Because ‘I’m 24!’

Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans are married now, but don’t expect the Nashville couple to expand their family any time soon.

“I’m 24, I’m not in a rush,” Ballerini tells PEOPLE. “It’s something we’re both stoked to do — one day down the track.”

The “Legends” singer and her fellow country crooner, 32, tied the knot Dec. 2 on the beach in an intimate ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The wedding came at a particularly exciting and stressful time for the bride. The Grammy nominee spent much of 2017 on the road opening for Lady Antebellum, and in November, the star released her sophomore album, Unapologetically.

Watch People Weddings: Kelsea Ballerini & Morgan Evans, available now, on PeopleTV. Go to PeopleTV.com, or download the PeopleTV app on your favorite mobile or connected TV device.

“My album is like a chronological story, and it ends with the whole story of meeting him, and then being with him forever,” says Ballerini. “It’s very fitting that we got married and kind of end the story where the record ends it.”

But Ballerini and “Kiss Somebody” singer Evans’ story is just beginning, and the couple say they’re looking forward to “everything.”

For much more on Morgan Evans and Kelsea Ballerini’s wedding, including more exclusive photos, pick up the latest issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands everywhere Friday.

“The great thing about both of us is we both wanted to be rock stars. That’s our dream, that’s our goal,” says Ballerini. “When I was younger I was dreaming about touring and stuff, and same with him. So I think it’s just been us making the dream together rather than having it separately and then combining it.”

Ballerini and Evans’s whirlwind romance began in March 2016. They cohosted the CMCs, an Australian country music award show, and sparks flew at the afterparty, where they shared their first kiss. They began dating as soon as they returned to Nashville, and nine months later, on Christmas Day, Evans popped the question.

For more coverage, follow our country magazine on Flipboard.

“Nine months seems like a short amount of time,” says Evans, but “it was pretty obvious something awesome was happening.”

Now with their wedding behind them, the pair look forward to an increasingly busy 2018, as both have jam-packed tour schedules. But distance won’t get them down.

“When you can do everything you want and then share it with someone,” says Ballerini, “that makes for a full life.”

Jennifer Lawrence Tells Vogue She Lives in Fear of Another Photo Hack: ‘I’m Always Waiting to Get Blindsided Again’

This year, Vogue has achieved a major milestone for any publication, celebrating it’s 125th-year in print. And to celebrate the occasion, the monthly magazine not only went with one of their favorite actresses for the main image, Jennifer Lawrence, who has now graced the cover three times, but to create something appropriately grand for this milestone achievement Vogue also commissioned four artists, photographers Bruce Weber, Annie Leibovitz, Inez and Vinoodh, and painter John Currin to each develop their unique aesthetic take on this Oscar-winning star, transforming her into their own personal muse.

For the cover above, Inez and Vinoodh dressed Lawrence in a slinky, gold, metal mesh gown by Versace with a dramatic thigh-high slit which they paired with a handful of David Yurman rings, slicking back her blonde hair and accentuating her features with very minimal bronzed makeup and shooting the whole thing on a simple grey backdrop to better let her natural beauty shine through. But while Inez and Vinoodh’s take on the actress was the kind of typical glamour we’ve become accustomed to seeing from her as she swans down the red carpet, the covers by John Currin and Bruce Weber highlight the true adaptability that helped make Lawrence a silver screen star.

RELATED: Jennifer Lawrence Opens Up About Relationship with Director Darren Aronofsky: ‘We Had Energy’

In the only black and white cover of the bunch, photographed by Bruce Weber, the Mother! actress looks off into the distance, fastening a button on her white Dior shirt, a brand she also happens to serve as the face of, wearing a number of rings also by the fashion house as well as an engraved ring by Eli Halili. Once again, her makeup is left subtle and natural, with the loose waves of her hair slightly tousled by the passing breeze.

For her cover shot by Annie Leibovitz, which will also serve as the primary cover image greeting readers on stands, the star went full-on Old Hollywood, in a crimson silk gown from the Ralph Lauren collection with a deep-V neckline and a long train, paired with Cathy Waterman earrings, leaning against the edge of a boat as it cruises past the Statue of Liberty in the background.

But although she’s used to being the center of attention on set, the actress confesses after having her privacy devastatingly violated when her nude photos were leaked on the internet, she’s always braced for the worse. “It’s scary when you feel the whole world judges you,” she says. “I think people saw for what it was, which was a sex crime, but that feeling, I haven’t been able to get rid of it. Having your privacy violated constantly isn’t a problem if you’re perfect. But if you’re human, it’s terrifying. When my publicist calls me, I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, what is it?’ Even when it’s nothing. I’m always waiting to get blindsided again.”

In an unprecedented move, the magazine also enlisted world famous fine artist John Currin, whom Vogue has featured extensively in the past, to paint an original portrait of Lawrence in his classical style. For the painting, the actress poses in a complete Miu Miu ensemble consisting of a puffy red-and-white striped fur hat, a clavicle-baring taupe gown with bishop sleeves, and a small turquoise leather clutch just barely in frame featuring the brand’s signature ornate ruching.

And it seems Vogue and these artists aren’t the only ones enamored with J.Law, her friend Emma Stone also gushed about their friendship to the publication. “‘I like how clear Jen is. She makes her opinions very, very clear to me, all the time—whether I ask for it or not.” Stone shares. “I appreciate that quality. She’s just fun, a shot of light.”

What do you think of Lawrence’s latest Vogue covers? Which is your favorite? Sound off below!

‘I’m Obsessed with Him’: Nicki Minaj Goes on ‘Aunty’ Duties Backstage with DJ Khaled’s Son Asahd

Major key alert: Nicki Minaj and DJ Khaled‘s 9-month-0ld son Asahd spent some quality time together Friday night.

The tiny tot has been knocking back milestone after milestone in his short life so far — turning heads on red carpets, stealing the spotlight at award showshanging with A-list stars, flying on private jets, running up the talk show circuit, producing music, and gracing magazine and album covers along the way.

And now, he can check “delivering platinum plaques” off his list.

Asahd swung by to see Minaj on Friday night to deliver her a framed record symbolizing the success of “Do You Mind,” the hit Khaled track she guests on. And while there, he couldn’t help but pose with Minaj for some sweet snaps.

Of course, Minaj was thrilled to see her favorite (non-blood related) nephew. “Look @ aunty’s big boy!!!!!” the 34-year-old “Anaconda” rapper gushed on Instagram, captioning a shot of them together on her couch. “This little angel came bearing gifts. PLATINUM PLAQUE ALERT!!!!! #DoYouMind Thank You for all your hard work Asahd!!!!! @asahdkhaled @djkhaled love you!!!!!”

She also made a video with Asahd using a bunny filter and voice changed, thanking the sweet boy for giving her the gift as he sat on her lap.

“This made my night,” Minaj wrote in the caption. “I’m so obsessed with him. Cuteness overload, I can’t take it!!!”

Of course, followers of Minaj know this isn’t the first time the star has praised Asahd on social media. She was one of the first stars to meet Khaled’s son, just weeks after his birth.

“My son ASAHD KHALED !! Wit @nickiminaj !!!!!” Khaled, 41, wrote on Instagram after sharing a photo of the two. “ICONS HANG WIT ICONS ! ICON ALERT!”

Minaj also talked about how much she loved seeing Ashad on Twitter, writing “I told Khaled whenever I see this lil King/CEO on my timeline I light up. He just makes me so happy yo. I wanna eat his cute face & chin!”

The love appears to be mutual, as Ashad (or rather, one of Ashad’s parents) shared a photo on Minaj on his Instagram account Friday night. “Had to stop by the studio to give @nickiminaj some beats and this platinum plaque of daddy’s @djkhaled,” Ashad “wrote.” “I’m having a busy Friday night.”

Khalad and his longtime partner, Nicole Tuck, welcomed their son in October 2016. He documented the entire process on his favorite app, Snapchat.

One month into being a father, Khaled told PEOPLE he was finding parenthood easy so far. “There’s nothing hard about it. Every moment I get a chance to be with my son is such an amazing moment,” he said. “This is something that you’re supposed to be grateful for and embrace.”

“He’s just like me. He has great energy,” Khaled continued. “He’s got the glow of a young mogul — the glow of a young icon. He’s amazing.”

Fatherhood has proved to be the “biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life,” Khaled said. “My son is so much joy. He brings me so much joy, and it’s a feeling that I can’t explain.”

Survivor of the ‘Son of Sam’ Speaks Out 41 Years Later: ‘I’m One of the Luckiest Guys in the World’

On the evening of Oct. 23, 1976, David Berkowitz — the self-proclaimed “Son of Sam,” who killed six people in eight shootings in New York City over nearly two years — was in Flushing, Queens, and he was on the prowl.

That same evening, 20-year-old Carl Denaro was sitting in a car with Rosemary Keenan, 18. The two were kissing when, all of a sudden, the car’s windows shattered.

Berkowitz had struck again.

Keenan sustained only cuts from the broken glass, but Denaro was shot five times and doctors had to use a metal plate to replace a part of his skull, which was shattered by the bullets.

On the 40th anniversary of the end of Berkowitz’s spree, Denaro, now 61, tells PEOPLE he is doing fine physically — and he understands how rare that is to say as one of the Son of Sam’s victims.

“I have some limited vision but no other negative effects from being shot that night,” he says. “I’m one of the luckiest guys in the world. I didn’t realize how lucky I was until my 30s. When you’re 20, you’re invincible. It took 10 years before I understood the severity of what had happened.”

• For more on the Son of Sam case then and now, subscribe now to PEOPLE or pick up this week’s issue, on newsstands Friday.

Denaro’s story will be part of a new documentary special on Berkowitz airing Aug. 5 on Investigation Discovery, Son of Sam: The Hunt For a Killer, which is exclusively previewed above.

Speaking to PEOPLE about his brush with the notorious murderer decades ago, Denaro says that early reports about being attacked tarnished his reputation — and he says he doesn’t actually believe Berkowitz pulled the trigger.

“The cops thought I was shot during a drug deal,” Denaro explains. “I smoked weed, but I never sold drugs. They accused me of being a drug-dealer, so I was victimized twice: by the cops and when I was shot.”

All these years later, Denaro says he’s done extensive research on Berkowitz and the shooting that changed his life forever. From what he has read and heard, he says, he thinks it was a woman who shot him that night.

“I believe other people were involved,” Denaro says. “He had help, and I am not alone in thinking this. Berkowitz in an interview comes right out and says he did not shoot Carl Denaro and claims that it was woman.”

Now 64, Berkowitz is serving six consecutive terms of 25 years-to-life after pleading guilty to the shootings in 1978.

N.Y.C. investigators tell PEOPLE they are sure it was him — and him alone — who carried out the attacks to which he confessed and which terrorized the city through the scorching summer of ’77.

“There was never any doubt in anybody’s mind that he was the killer,” says retired N.Y.C. police Capt. Joe Borrelli.

Denaro reached out to Berkowitz himself, he says, writing him letters in prison. A meeting had been arranged several years ago, but Berkowitz backed out at the last moment. Denaro says he’s fine living the rest of his life without that conversation.

“I don’t have a need to talk to him, and I don’t see any upside to meeting with him,” he says. “An apology from him would be a hollow apology, anyway.”

Nick Cannon Is Not Looking for Love After Mariah Carey Split: ‘I’m Broken, I’m Shattered’

Three years after his split with Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon is still shattered.

At the Kids Choice Sports Awards on Thursday, Cannon, 36, told Entertainment Tonight that he is not currently looking to open up his heart to someone else.

“I’m broken. I’m shattered,” he said.

Cannon married the singing legend in 2008, but the couple broke up in 2014. They have two children together, 6-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

On February 21, Cannon happily welcomed his third child, and first with former Miss Arizona U.S.A. Brittany Bell, even though they are no longer an item.

When Cannon first announced that he was expecting another baby, PEOPLE reported his saying that he does not consider Bell his “ex.” Rather, Carey was his last ex, and that “everybody else is people that I’ve known, loved and cared for.”

So although Cannon might not be involved in anything serious right now, he did admit that he’s “always dating.”

“Why not? I’m a single man. I’m supposed to date,” he said.

Carey, on the other hand, has been seen out with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, swimming with sharks over the July 4th weekend. She had also been engaged to James Packer before they broke up in 2016.

Despite Cannon’s single status, he seems fond of Tanaka.

“He’s a nice guy,” Cannon shared.

And even though Carey has moved on, Cannon can still cherish the memories the two had together.

“That was a special time. It was, but we made some amazing children together, and so we’ll always be together,” he said.

Here’s What Dustin Hoffman Has To Say About Famous ‘I’m Walkin’ Here!’ Line

Dustin Hoffman and filmmaker Noah Baumbach met up at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival Monday to discuss the latter’s career and throw in some tidbits about their upcoming film, “The Meyerowitz Stories.” But, inevitably, some flashbacks to the actor’s time on camera snuck in.

During a Q&A session at the end of their conversation, an audience member told Hoffman that he was a big fan of the actor’s iconic “I’m walkin’ here!” scene alongside Jon Voight in 1969’s “Midnight Cowboy.” A quick refresher: Voight and Hoffman are crossing a New York City street when a cab nearly hits the actors. Hoffman delivers his famous line and serves up a few choice knocks on the cab’s hood.

The best part? It was all a result of Hoffman’s quick thinking.

During the Tribeca Talk, Hoffman explained that he and Voight were doing many takes of the scene, trying to time it just right so they wouldn’t have to wait for a light at the crosswalk.

“We finally get it at the — whatever it is — 50th take, and we’re so happy, we can feel it, at this point in the dialogue, Jon and I. We’re at the corner, and it turns green, and we’re able to keep walking, and a fucking cab has hit us,” Hoffman explained, pausing for the crowd’s laughter.

“The truth is, this is the way the brain works: What was in my head was, ‘We’re makin’ a movie here!’ And then just as I’m about to say that, I realize, ‘Oh, you can’t do that,’ the brain changes it to, ‘I’m walkin’ here!’ What was really being said, for me, was, ‘We’re shooting here!’”

And thus movie history — and the enduring indifference of New York taxicabs — was solidified.

I’m Isola Marras Pre-Fall 2017

Antonio Marras channeled an Andean mood for pre-fall in his I’m Isola Marras contemporary line. The designer didn’t take the inspiration too literally, but reworked it through his eclectic sensibility. He paired cozy knits with graphic intarsia and fringed details, including oversize cardigans and sweaters, with maxi floral dresses, as well as padded jackets with functional appeal. The color palette ranged from tones of green and brown to bouquetlike hues of pink, lilac and yellow. The brand’s signature multicolor stripes were juxtaposed with tile-inspired romantic graphics, as well as micro polka dots. While the jumpsuits — crafted by combining different fabrics — had a workwear-inspired, mannish attitude, micro skirts worn with fitted jackets had a cute school-uniform feel. Spanning from folk to sweet, Marras mixed and matched different influences in a charming collection marked by his hypercreative approach.

Why Do We Keep Saying ‘I’m Fine’?

Co-authored by Mary Wilson

Beyoncé is a talented multitasker. How do I know this? Who else can sell over 1 million records without an ounce of promotion while at the same time being a mother and wife? Yeah, me either.

Through recent post-Met Gala events recently captured on an elevator security camera and released to the word, we caught a glimpse of the less-than-fabulous part of her life, or maybe just the real part. In the video seen around the world, we witness her younger sister, Solange, attacking and yelling at her husband, Jay Z. A security guard is forced to restrain a clearly enraged Solange, while Beyoncé barely attempts to stop the madness. This altercation ended with Beyoncé leaving the event with her sister, Jay Z taking a separate car, and a barrage of unanswered questions.

But to some, the strangest part of the whole scene wasn’t the brother-in-law/sister-in-law feud but the fact that Beyoncé just stood there. It was the fact that a couple of minutes after the physical fight in the elevator, she walked out like nothing had happened.

In the days following the event, Beyoncé was spotted courtside at a Brooklyn Nets game with her husband, apparently happily in love. I am a huge fan of Beyoncé, but I found it very odd. In the midst of this controversy, she just sat there and pretended that everything was OK? Now let’s be clear: B never said “I’m fine,” but in my opinion, her smile did.

So what is really going on here? Was this just a random family feud that ended with hugs and kisses, or was that video a peek into a larger issue that is cleverly being covered up for the sake of family and image? I think the latter.

In a world where celebrities (and non-celebrities) will sell their souls for a few dollars and Instagram “likes,” Beyoncé has always set herself apart by keeping her private life private. With her fame, her music telling girls to “run the world,” and her participation in campaign initiatives such as “Ban Bossy,” she has aimed to empower women and mothers. With that being said, at what point does keeping her life private and saving face in the midst of turmoil tarnish her message to women?

I believe it does, since it tells women everywhere that no matter how chaotic your life may be, you must act like you got this down — as usual.

As women and mothers, we are expected to deal with issues at home, privately, and never let the world know the truth, for fear of being viewed as weak or imperfect.

Were you too tired to feed your kid that meal of protein and whole-wheat pasta that you promised yourself you would make, so you bought pizza instead?

Did you leave your iPhone on top of the car (again) because your brain isn’t working today? That’s a totally true story, by the way (unfortunately).

Did you go to work and pretend you hadn’t just had a fight with your husband?

Are you seeing a therapist but lying about where you are from 7 to 8 p.m.?

Do you have no problem pretending in public that you don’t care about what you weigh, when in reality every time you take a bite, you think about how you need to stop taking bites?

Why are we like this?

Like it or not, I don’t know why women are shocked. We all do the same thing Beyoncé did. And we do it every day. She has her image, her family and her career to maintain. We’re really not that different. Granted, I don’t get to go on my private yacht all the time, but I digress.

We are constantly surrounded by examples of “perfect” women feeding us false examples that are impossible to achieve. In reality life happens, and life is full of failures and lessons learned. How are we supposed to look up to a celebrity like Beyoncé who brushes these life lessons under the rug and walks away with a forced smile? It’s conflicting that all of us shout “girl power” from the rooftops while simultaneously wearing the same fake smiles.

You know what I would’ve loved? If Beyoncé had gone off herself. If we’d been able to hear that audio. If Beyoncé had cursed out Solange or Jay Z or, better yet, the paparazzi waiting outside!

I would’ve said, “Finally!”

In “Pretty Hurts,” a song on her newest album, Beyoncé sings, “We try to fix something, but you can’t fix what you can’t see. It’s the soul that needs the surgery.” The question is: When do we women drop the façade and admit what’s really wrong?

Granted, in the real world, that might mean addressing a less-than-perfect marriage or a less-than-perfect career or just admitting, “No, everything is not fine, actually.” When was the last time you heard that from a friend? Probably never, because as much as people look on in awe as Beyoncé pretends that everything in her life is fine, most people do the same thing every day, programmed to just keep going and keep smiling.

Why do we all feel like we have to maintain perfection, especially black women? Is it the constant stream of social-media comparisons to keep up with? Is it the fact that we were taught to always hold it together, even when it’s all falling apart?

When do we drop the façade? When do we black women stop thinking that allowing ourselves to feel is weakness? When do we stop saying “I’m fine”?
