Jesse Williams Granted Joint Physical Custody of Children Almost 1 Year After Divorce Filing

Almost a year after he filed for divorce, the custody agreement between Jesse Williams and Aryn Drake-Lee has been ordered.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Williams and Drake-Lee were granted joint physical custody of daughter Sadie, 4, and son Maceo, 2½. Last summer, the pair was granted joint legal custody of their two children.

The documents outline a specific custodial schedule for the months when Williams, 36, is filming Grey’s Anatomy, as well as a separate schedule for when the show is not in production.

Williams and Drake-Lee will alternate custody of the kids for major holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Easter Sunday and the Fourth of July.

The documents also states that Williams and Drake-Lee are to “communicate exclusively through OurFamilyWizard,” which is a website designed to facilitate communications between divorced or separated parents in order to remove conflict and improve the lives of the children involved. (Communicating via text message or phone is permitted “in the event of an emergency,” according to the order.)

Williams wed Drake-Lee, a real estate broker, in Los Angeles in September 2012. At the time, they had been dating for over five years. They first met while Williams was working as a teacher in New York.

After five years of marriage, Williams filed for divorce in April 2017.

In January, Williams has agreed to pay Drake-Lee $ 50,695 per month in spousal support, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

Kirsten Dunst And Jesse Plemons Are Reportedly Engaged

Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst played husband and wife on the FX show “Fargo,” and now it looks like they may be getting married in real life.

Dunst was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Jan. 2 and again a few days later during an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”

Page Six first reported the engagement news. The Huffington Post reached out to Dunst’s rep for comment but had not heard back at the time of publication.

Dunst and Plemons ― who played married high school sweethearts Peggy and Ed Blumquist on season two of “Fargo” ― were first spotted together in Studio City, California in May 2016.

In 2015, Plemons (you may also remember him as Landry on “Friday Night Lights”) had some sweet things to say about his co-star during a FOX411 interview.

“It was a gift,” he said of working with Dunst. “I loved Kirsten’s work for a long time, and I was really excited once I’d met her, and she’s a great person. We’re both actors that just have fun with the material.”

This will be the first marriage for both actors. Dunst split with Garrett Hedlund, her boyfriend of four years, in April of last year.

We have just one thing to say about this wedding: Bring. It. On.

Jesse Owens, Adolf Hitler and the 1936 Summer Olympics

Jesse Owens, Adolf Hitler and the 1936 Summer Olympics

Both Jesse Owens and Adolf Hitler grew up in poverty, and each of the two men struggled to find their footing later in life. Owens represented the United States in the 1936 Olympics, after which he found it difficult to sustain a well-paying job. In turn, Adolf Hitler moved to Vienna as a teenager, following his parents’ death, but he never found the financial success he so desperately craved as an artist. He spent most of his time in the city a penniless, unemployed young man. The similarities between the two men end there. While Adolf Hitler became angered and enraged by his circumstances, and by the fate of Germany following the First World War, Jesse Owens went out of his way to help people. Even when he faced the cruelty of racism in the United States, Owens saw the best in others. He spent most of his days working with children and teenagers, making a conscious effort to give them the guidance and support they needed to enact positive change in the world. In contrast, Hitler turned to hatred, divisiveness, and conflict in his attempts to change the world in his image. Owens was an open-minded man who spent his life bettering the lives of his family and the community at large. Even when others asked him to denounce the racist tendencies of Adolf Hitler, he chose to grudgingly respect the German leader. Meanwhile, Hitler’s experiences only fueled his hatred of anyone who was not Aryan and German. In this book, we will explore the lives of both men leading up to the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Then, we will take a closer look at the effects of that summer on the rest of their years.

Former MTV VJ Jesse Camp Sets The Record Straight About His Drug Use

After beating out 5,000 other contestants in 1998’s “Wanna Be A VJ” competition, an 18-year-old Jesse Camp became a high-profile “video jockey” on MTV, which was still riding high during the peak of its cultural relevance. But his eccentric look, dry sense of humor and distinctively high-pitched voice made viewers wonder if he was under the influence as he introduced their favorite videos. During a Friday interview with HuffPost Live’s Ricky Camilleri, Camp set the record straight about what substances he was using when and how he ultimately decided to end his “hardcore drug era.”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson Responds After Tuc Watkins Deems ‘Modern Family’ Couple The Gay Equivalent Of ‘Blackface’

Jesse Tyler Ferguson took to social media after a fellow actor criticized the portrayal of a same-sex couple on “Modern Family” as being “the gay equivalent of ‘blackface.’

The 39-year-old Ferguson, who has nabbed five Emmy nominations for his work on “Modern Family,” said he knew “lots of guys” who could relate to Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitch (Ferguson).

We can’t be expected to represent every gay person,” he wrote on Facebook. “We can only represent these two people. Also, Mitch is basically a version of me…so I never know how to take it when people say
that he is stereotypical. And in defense of Cam, I still can’t figure out how a clown & football coach who also happens to be gay is a stereotype.”

He went on to note, “As a closeted kid of the ’80s I would have loved to have had a show like ‘Modern Family’ to watch with my parents. It would have meant a lot to me to see who I secretly was reflected on television. TV has come a long way and it continues to forge new ground.”

You can check out Ferguson’s full Facebook post here.

Ferguson’s remarks followed those of “Desperate Housewives” actor Tuc Watkins. The openly gay Watkins, who played Bob Hunter on “Housewives” and can currently be seen on “Awkward,” said he had “a hard time laughing at the gay guys” on “Modern Family,” arguing that the show’s portrayal of a same-sex couple “doesn’t feel ‘modern’ at all.”

“It feels a little bit like the gay equivalent of ‘blackface,'” he added, according to reports. “Sure, people come in all shapes, sizes, etc. So why are we fed such ’80s stereotypes every week?”

Earlier this year, “Modern Family” came under fire from the American Family Association’s Bryan Fischer, who argued that the ABC series was “designed to make you think that same-sex households are wonderful” and “the optimum nurturing environment for children,” while depicting heterosexual marriage as “bondage, dreary,” and “gloomy.”

“People are just watching TV to be entertained,” Fischer said at the time, “not realizing that their view of life is being twisted in a way that’s very harmful to them and harmful to our culture.”
