Red Dead Redemption: Rockstar Revealing Gang Members’ Names

Rockstar Games is spending the morning rounding up its posse. Put another way, the developer is tweeting out names and quotes for some of the members of Red Dead Redemption 2’s Dutch Van der Linde gang.

The first new reveal was Susan Grimshaw, for whom Rockstar offered this line of dialogue: “I swear half of you would just rot in your own filth if nobody kept you in check.”

Rockstar followed her up with Molly O’Shea, who’s quoted as saying, “You’re playing a dangerous game.”

Those are the only new members introduced, but Rockstar also gave shoutouts to the previously revealed Hosea Matthews, Pearson, and Dutch Van der Linde, the latter of whom is the leader of the gang. The gang leader quote Rockstar shared is, “They’re chasing us hard, because we represent everything that they fear.”

Raw video: UFC’s Jared Gordon involved in street fight with gang members that nearly cost him three fingers

This past February, Jared Gordon saw his five-fight win streak snapped by Carlos Diego Ferreira at UFC Fight Night 126 after coming up on the wrong end of a first round technical knockout loss. And while people are quick to flame a fighter for revealing he or she didn’t go into a fight at 100-percent, Gordon tells the tale of just how bad his left hand was busted up after a series of rather unfortunate and bizarre events that you have to see to believe … literally. Speaking to Bloody Elbow, Jared recalls a wild, unexpected street fight he got into with two alleged gang members on the streets of Queens, N.Y., while waiting his turn at a barber shop two months prior to his fight. British Royal Family Members Attend War Memorial Unveiling in London

WAR MEMORIAL: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth, the Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Charles at the unveiling ceremony of the Iraq and Afghanistan War Memorial in London on Thursday.
The memorial, a sculpture at Victoria Embankment Gardens, near the Thames, honors the soldiers who served Britain during the Gulf War and the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Guests at the service that followed at Horse Guards Parade included senior members of government, military veterans and their families, politicians and civil servants.
The Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial was created by the sculptor Paul Day and designed with two copper medallions — representing Iraq and Afghanistan — which sit in the middle of two large stones.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore an indigo twill swing coat from Michael Kors Collection and a navy hat. A fan of recycling her outfits, she had already donned the coat for a visit to the Anzac Day ceremonies during the royal tour in Australia in 2014.

This Is What It’s Like To Join The Mile-High Club, According To Members

Sometimes the friendly skies get a little extra friendly. Just ask these members of the mile-high club.

Some got frisky in the airplane bathroom (germs be damned!), others opted for some stealth beneath-the-blanket action in their seats. Some did it as a couple, others with a stranger.

Below, 15 mile-high club members on Whisper ― an app that allows users to share their secrets anonymously ― reveal what it’s like to do the deed at 30,000 feet.

The Bessie’s: The Dance Community Awards Excellence Among Its Members

Rarely are dancers celebrated for their work. They almost never break free from an attentive gaze that comes with constant critique and comparison. In the studio, teachers correct every articulation, striving for perfection in the human body. On the stage, critics dissect performers’ motions, searching for error. As unrealistic as Black Swan might have been, the film captured one thing beautifully: dance is a stressful art form, not just tutus and tiaras.

So it’s especially lovely when the dance community can gather together and applaud each other’s efforts. Such is the environment at the Bessie’s, dance’s version of the Academy Awards or the Tony’s. This year, the 31st-annual ceremony took place at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, with its iconic neon-red sign. Bright, plush, velvety décor set the mood, chandeliers cascading to make prisms on the walls. A DJ played music more reminiscent of a club than a cultural event, and the room felt warm, inviting — more than cordial.

Performance artist Carmelita Tropicana and former New York City Ballet principal Jock Soto made an unlikely pair as hosts. She proved eccentric, a serpentine bodysuit hugging her curves as she told too many sex jokes to count. He harbored all of the professional, stoic rigidity of a male ballet dancer whose discipline and concentration led to a 24-year career with George Balanchine’s ensemble. Still, they managed to get along, informal and improvised.

The presenters were all big names in the industry, from dancers to choreographers to programmers. Kyle Abraham took the podium, as did one of the women who launched him, Ella Baff. Ivy Baldwin delivered especially poignant eulogies for her deceased collaborator, Lawrence Cassella, and Marcelo Gomes stunned in a gorgeous silver suit.

As for the winners, most were respectful, earnest, and timid. Amar Ramasar, who was awarded Outstanding Performer, thanked Peter Martins for believing in a kid from the Bronx in an especially memorable speech. And in David Neumann’s acceptance for Outstanding Production in I Understand Everything Better, he admitted something with which any dancer could empathize: he was humbled, amazed, and… tired.

For me, the only surprise was that Robert Fairchild did not win Outstanding Performer for An American in Paris. I admit, I’m biased, and always will be biased — ballet is what I most enjoy, and I can grasp it much better than some of the alternative works downtown (though I like those, too, for the challenge). But Fairchild blew me away as Jerry, especially in his final dance scene. His charisma, his finesse, it was all magnificent… a triumph for ballet. The fact that it went unrecognized by the Bessie’s — not only Fairchild’s extraordinary dedication to his part, but also Christopher Wheeldon’s engaging choreography — baffled me.

Another notable absence was any nominee from American Ballet Theatre. This did not shock me; I’ve been following the company since I was a child, when Gomes was the new kid on the block, and I know the company is in a period of transition right now. But the hope is that Kevin McKenzie will nurture a new vanguard of artists and technicians, like Martins has at NYCB in recent years.

The evening’s apex: Steve Paxton called in from Paris to accept the 2015 NY Dance and Performance Award for Outstanding Lifetime Achievement in Dance. In a video beforehand, he seemed a little peeved to receive a “lifetime achievement” award; after all, he’s still kicking, still innovating, still creating. But on Skype, he was congenial, offering some off-the-cuff advice: everyone should choreograph something at least once in their life. And if you think about it, we choreograph every day. How we move along the street, how we navigate situations — it’s all choreography, whether physical or psychological.

Like most award shows, the Bessie’s sprinkled in a few performances to rupture the seriousness of the situation. After all, it would be a shame to take up the Apollo stage and not use it. Storyboard P, who won the 2015 Emerging Choreographer Award, liquefied his bones in what seemed a tribute to Michael Jackson. Lisa Nelson improvised a sweet solo with a ribbon at its center. But really the only moment that left an impression was when Camille A. Brown emerged in her white gloves. She’s intoxicating, truly, with the star quality that makes her worth watching. These days, you can’t always believe the hype surrounding a choreographer. Believe the hype about Camille A. Brown.

By 9:30, the show was over. Most people headed to an after-party to dance the night away, sans pirouettes and with alcohol and pizza. Everyone seemed to know everyone else — there were no outsiders, except perhaps me, but I was fine with being an outsider looking in. It was nice to look, to see the friendship and appreciation. I don’t envy artists for their vulnerability to the public, but at the Bessie’s, they mingled among others who understood. Speakers emphasized how hard it is to dance in NYC in the 21st century. But they do it because they love it.

That’s what you could feel at the Apollo: all the love.

Kylie and Kendall Jenner Have Actually Gotten Lost in a Family Member’s Closet

As part of a very fashionable family, no one was surprised when Kendall and Kylie Jenner entered the creative space as professionals. Among their individual accomplishments (beauty lines, walking in Chanel shows), the girls also carve out time to work together, creating an eponymous line sold at PacSun. The twosome chatted with Glamour about what it’s like to do work together on the line that hit stores last week.

Glamour: How is it working together?

Kylie Jenner: Kendall and I do just about everything with each other, but as we’ve grown up, our interests are changing. It’s really nice to be able to spend time on something we love and work together so closely on this since we can’t always be together.

Kendall Jenner: Totally. We’re sisters, so we’re always going to butt heads a bit, but at the end of the day, we respect each other’s opinions. We’ve worked together on the collection from start to finish, so there’s a little of Kylie and a little of me in every piece.

Glamour: Which piece from the new collection do you think you’ll end up living in?

Kendall: Oh God. It’s tough, but I’m gonna go with the crochet bikini. It’s different compared to the other swimsuits that I have at home, and I feel like it’ll be my go-to for pool parties or the beach this summer.

Kylie: I love that suit too! I guess I’d have to say the crochet romper because it’s different than what we’ve designed in the past. Something about it makes it so easy to dress up or down when I’m with my friends, or I’ll throw it on when I have to run errands.

Glamour: Describe each other’s style in a few words…

Kendall: Kylie, you go first.

Kylie: Let’s see…timeless, casual, and chic?

Kendall: I can work with that. My three words [for Kylie] would be edgy, fun…different. Wait, can I use “out there”?

Glamour: Totally. We’ve heard you both say whose family member’s style you admire the most, but who has the best closet, physical space-wise?

Kylie: Definitely Kim.

Kendall: All of our sisters have amazing closets, but Kim’s is insane. You could literally get lost in there. I probably actually have once or twice.

‘Love Cloud’ Sex Flights Offered For Wannabe Mile-High Club Members

If you’ve ever wanted to join the mile-high club but don’t want to risk getting caught, a Las Vegas entrepreneur is ready to make your X-rated dreams comes true.

Love Cloud is a new service offering flights over Sin City for couples looking to engage in a little sin of their own — but company founder Andy Johnson says it’s about so much more than sex.

I want it to be romantic,” he told Las Vegas Weekly. “One of those bucket-list things that you did that you will never forget for the rest of your life.”

Here’s a photo of your entry into the mile-high club, from the company’s Facebook page:

The aircraft is a Cessna 421 dubbed the “Golden Eagle” that normally seats six but has been modified to include a custom-made foam mattress with a Liberator Heart Wedge and Decor Whirl bolster (these are basically sex pillows).

Here’s a look at the interior:

And another:

“After every flight, Love Cloud has a cleaning service that cleans every part of the aircraft with specific cleaning products to kill any and all germs,” Johnson, 32, told KLAS-TV, adding that sheets, pillowcases and towels are all changed.

The plane also packs a sound and light system as well as a curtained door that separates you from the pilot, who will be wearing a noise-canceling headset to drown out any mile-high moans.

While it may sound like an April Fool’s Day hoax (and may well turn out to be), Johnson told Las Vegas Weekly earlier in March that he’s already booking flights and is even in the second round of auditions to get his company onto the “Shark Tank” TV show, in which small business attempt to obtain investments from deep-pocketed entrepreneurs.

Before you board the Love Cloud, however, there is one caveat: Johnson pleaded guilty to reckless operation of an aircraft and served 20 days in jail due to a 2012 incident around a Virginia-based flight school he once owned.

In any case, he says he won’t be flying the plane; he’ll be running his mile-high operation from the ground.

Flights start at $ 799 for 40 minutes with routes over the Vegas Strip, Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.
