A college football reporter has been reported missing after she texted her roommate that a suspicious man had been following her, according to authorities.

Courtney Roland, 29, was last seen at 4 p.m. local time on Saturday afternoon after covering a Texas A&M football camp in Houston, Texas. Later that evening, she apparently went out in her Jeep Cherokee. At 12:30 A.M. early Sunday morning, she texted a roommate saying that she had been followed by a suspicious man in a blue truck, the Houston Police Department told PEOPLE.

According to her texts, the man followed her all the way home, but allegedly drove off when she got out.

Roland’s roommate told local outlet Click 2 Houston that she and Roland were supposed to meet up on Sunday, but that she never heard from Roland again.

Police found Roland’s Jeep late Sunday. Her phone, purse, iPad, computer and credit cards were also found.

Roland’s mother told Click 2 Houston that she received a text from Roland’s phone saying, “Hello the owner of this phone Courtney. I am buying an iPad.”

Houston Police confirmed to PEOPLE that they are continuing to investigate the case, and will release more information as it emerges.

Roland was last seen wearing an orange Remington hat and a camouflage fleece sweater. She drives a 2015 white Jeep Cherokee with the license plate number HZC7778.

Anyone with information on Roland’s whereabouts is urged to call Houston Police Department’s Missing Persons hotline at 832-394-1840.

Dave Chappelle Apologizes For Telling Viewers To Give Donald Trump A Chance

Dave Chappelle has one big regret about his appearance on “Saturday Night Live” last November ― and it wasn’t a punchline.

Just days after Donald Trump was elected president, Chappelle went the magnanimous route during his monologue and asked viewers to give the new leader a chance.

But that was then.

On Monday, the comedian expressed regret for his “SNL” remarks at a charity event in New York City.

“I was the first guy on TV to say ‘Give Trump a chance.’ I f―ked up. Sorry,” he said at the Robin Hood Foundation benefit, according to MSNBC’s Willie Geist.

Rewind to Nov. 12, when Chappelle said on “SNL”:

“I’m wishing Donald Trump luck, and I’m going to give him a chance, and we the historically disenfranchised demand that he give us one too.”

Man, that seems like a long time ago.

DJ Duo Claim They Were Handcuffed and ‘Dragged Off Stage’ for Telling Frat Party ‘Put Yo Hands Up’

A DJ duo claim that they were handcuffed and dragged off stage at a University of Alabama frat party after telling revelers to “put yo’ hands up” during their performance.

Vicetone, real names Ruben Den Boer and Victor Pool, tweeted, “So I just got handcuffed and dragged off stage at this college party for ‘inciting a riot’ by yelling something like ‘put yo hands up.’ ”

The Dutch duo followed up the tweet at 1:15 a.m. Saturday by saying, “Obviously got released cause I did nothing wrong – also huge shoutout to University of Alabama for throwing down tonight.”

A video of the Tuscaloosa party posted on Twitter shows one of the duo on stage in a hospital gown drinking 4 Loko, which is a combination of malt liquor and caffeine.

A University of Alabama police officer told PEOPLE that neither Den Boer nor Pool were arrested, but said officers were called to the party for “crowd control.” She referred further questions to the university’s media relations department, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

One student tweeted an apology that police intervened at the show, “Sorry you guys had to go through that crap here. You guys were lit.”

It’s not clear whether anyone was arrested at the party.
