Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn Are Engaged! ‘We Are Very Happy and in Love’

Congratulations are in order for Ed Sheeran and his “Perfect” love Cherry Seaborn, who have gotten engaged after almost three years of dating.

Got myself a fiancée just before new year,” the 26-year-old singer wrote on Instagram Saturday, captioning a sweet photo of he and Seaborn — who has inspired, among other things, Sheeran’s latest hit single. “We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx”

Sheeran and Seaborn, 24 — a risk advisory consultant — have known one another since high school and recently moved in together. They began dating in the summer of 2015 after Sheeran’s BFF Taylor Swift invited Seaborn over for her famous Independence Day fête at her Rhode Island home.

I’ve known Cherry since I was 11,” the “Shape of You” singer told PEOPLE in March. “She worked on Wall Street in New York, and I had like six shows . It was around then, and we reconnected. I went on tour again, and then I went to Taylor’s 4th of July party. I was texting , and she was like, ‘I’m in Rhode Island at a 4th of July party,’ and I was like, ‘So am I.’ I kinda said to Taylor, ‘Can I invite one of my old schoolmates?’ The rest is history.”

The pair have been going strong ever since. “She’s really cool,” Sheeran told Ellen DeGeneres in a clip from Ellen’s Show Me More Show on YouTube posted in December. “We have two cats but they’re both really, really strange creatures. They kind of sit up like humans. It’s really strange. You’ll walk in and they’ll be looking at you.”

In addition to helping raise two cats, Seaborn also helped Sheeran clean up his act in the year off he took before recording his latest album ÷ (pronounced “divide”).

“I think you need to, when you get into the industry, adjust to it — and I didn’t adjust because I was constantly working on tour. And all the pitfalls that people read about, I just found myself slipping into all of them. Mostly, like, substance abuse,” Sheeran said on an episode of The Jonathan Ross Show late last year. “I never touched anything. I started slipping into it, and that’s why I took a year off and buggered off.”

“I focused on work, and I can’t work under the influence, I can’t write songs under the influence, I can’t perform under the influence — so the more I worked the less . I’ve worked my whole life to get to where I am and you can’t lose that over something that you do in your spare time,” he added.

Luckily, Seaborn was there to help. “I didn’t really notice it was happening. It just started gradually happening, and then some people took me to one side and were like, ‘Calm yourself down’… It’s all fun to begin with, it all starts off as a party and then you’re doing it on your own and it’s not, so that was a wake-up call and taking a year off.”

Moving in together was a major change, too. “I think that was a real help grounding me,” he said. “I was a 25 year old in the music industry on tour so I just needed someone to balance me out.”

Prior to their engagement, Sheeran told PEOPLE he and Seaborn were going to be spending the holidays together — though he remained mum about any plans to pop the question.

“We bought What Do You Meme? — do you know that game?” Sheeran said of his Christmas plans. “I’m going to play that with her family. She only lives a couple of miles away from me. So I usually have Christmas at my house and drive over to hers.”

While the card game, which asks players to match a photo with the funniest meme, will likely be a highlight of Sheeran’s holiday, it’s not the only thing on his schedule.

“We do 12 Pubs of Christmas, which is a pub crawl and you have a pint at every pub,” said the two-time Grammy winner.

LeToya Luckett Gets Engaged — with a Giant Diamond Ring — a Year After Divorce

LeToya Luckett is ready to walk down the aisle again!

The R&B singer is engaged to Texas businessman Tommicus Walker, she announced on Wednesday — sharing a stunning selfie of her jaw-dropping engagement ring on Instagram.

“I said, ‘Yes yeeeesssss’ on his Burfday!!” Luckett, 36, captioned the shot — adding the hashtags, “#issaengagement #GodShowedout #HesaGoodManSavanah #LoveWins #8/16/17.”

Her happy news comes a year after news broke that Luckett split from husband Rob Hillman, whom she married in January of 2016 and split from two months later. Their divorce was finalized last spring.

“Anytime you open up and allow yourself to love and love hard, that’s the risk you take of it possibly not working out,” she revealed to The Breakfast Club in May 2017. “And although we really did love and care for each other, it just didn’t turn out the way we wanted it to.”

Luckett — who was one of the original four members of Destiny’s Child and sang on hits such as “Say My Name” and “Jumpin’ Jumpin’” — was surprised by Walker’s proposal, and teared up when he dropped down to one knee in front of their friends and family (including his young daughter).

The happy moment was captured by Luckett’s brother Gavin, who shared it to Instagram. “That one time @letoyaluckett planned a surprise Bday dinner for @iamtwalk2 but he had a bigger surprise for her,” he explained in the caption. “Congrats y’all!!!”

Aside from wedding planning, Luckett is prepping to portray legendary pop and R&B singer Dionne Warwick in the upcoming biopic, Dionne. The film will follow Warwick’s early career spanning from 1962-1968, during which time she recorded some of her biggest hits including “Alfie” and “I Say a Little Prayer.”

Along with channeling Warwick in the movie, Luckett will also record the singer’s songs for the soundtrack.

Quentin Tarantino Is Engaged to Girlfriend Daniela Pick: Report

Quentin Tarantino is reportedly engaged to girlfriend Daniela Pick, according to The Times of Israel.

The director, 54, met the Israeli singer in 2009 while promoting his film Inglorious Basterds. The two have had an on-again off-again relationship, but appear to be settling down.

Pick, 33, reportedly confirmed the news to Ynet and said that the couple were “very happy and excited.” She is the daughter of Israeli singer and songwriter Tzvika Pick.

The article by The Times of Israel was tweeted from the official account of The New Beverly Cinema movie theater in Los Angeles, which Tarantino owns.

Reps for Tarantino could not be reached by PEOPLE. He has never been married.

Tarantino made headlines last year when he revealed that he was planning to retire from filmmaking after completing his 10th film — meaning his next two films will be his last.

“Drop the mic. Boom. Tell everybody, ‘Match that s—,’” he said back in November at the Adobe Max conference in San Diego.

FROM COINAGE: Tips for Planning a Wedding on a Budget

And with eight films and two Oscar wins already under his belt, Tarantino said he hopes to be remembered as one of the “greatest filmmakers that ever lived.”

“Hopefully, the way I define success when I finish my career is that I’m considered one of the greatest filmmakers that ever lived. And going further, a great artist, not just filmmaker,” he said.

Morning Joe Co-Hosts Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski Are Engaged

The co-hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” are finally confirming what viewers had suspected for months.

Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are engaged, a spokesperson for the network told HuffPost. According the New York Post, which first reported the news, the couple made it official over the weekend while on vacation in Antibes, France.

As Mediaite points out, guest Harold Ford Jr. congratulated the pair during Thursday’s broadcast, which co-host Willie Geist rushed to clarify was in reference to the show’s good ratings.

Scarborough and Brzezinski’s on-air banter has helped fuel the constant rumors that the two were dating. As Jezebel put it, their chemistry is “endearing and sexually tense as hell.”

The pair hadn’t gone out of their way to deny the reports, either.

“I really don’t want to talk about my personal life,” Scarborough, a former Republican congressman, told GQ last year. “As always, I defer to Mika.”

Most recently, Scarborough made headlines by telling The Hollywood Reporter that “we have a crackling on-air chemistry, and a crackling off-air chemistry, too … I think that pretty much says it, doesn’t it?”

Ronda Rousey Is Engaged To UFC Fighter Travis Browne

Ronda Rousey is heading down the aisle!

On Thursday, the former UFC bantamweight women’s champion told TMZ that she is engaged to UFC fighter Travis Browne, whom she’s been dating since 2015.

The pair got engaged in New Zealand earlier this month after Browne got down on one knee under a waterfall and presented Rousey with a gorgeous ring.

“It felt like the right place to do it,” Browne told TMZ.

Rousey also said the pair will be tying the knot “soon,” but no other wedding arrangements have been made yet.

“I don’t really want a lot,” she said. “We don’t really need decorations or flowers, just somewhere to go and something to eat and some people around.”

After Rousey’s loss to Holly Holm in November 2015, Browne was by her side to offer his love and support.

In a February 2016 appearance on “Ellen,” Rousey told the host that she dealt with suicidal thoughts after the defeat, but was fortunate to have Browne to confide in.

“I was meant to have him when I was at my lowest for sure,” Rousey said. “I don’t know if I would have made it without him.”

We simply couldn’t be happier for these two!

Colton Haynes And Beau Jeff Leatham Get Engaged With Help From Cher

With fireworks and Cher sparking the moment, this proposal couldn’t miss.

Colton Haynes of “Teen Wolf” and “Arrow” fame announced his engagement to Jeff Leatham on Sunday, with pyrotechnics lighting up the sky and the “Believe” singer giving her blessing on a video monitor.

“I SAID YES!” Haynes, 28, captioned an Instagram photo of himself locked in a kiss with Leatham in Los Cabos, Mexico.

I SAID YES!!! ❤️ @jeffleatham

A post shared by Colton Haynes (@coltonlhaynes) on

Cher set up the proposal in a video that appeared on a screen next to the pair, telling them, “I got you, babe.” (She also sang the song as well, People reported.)

After the video played, Leatham took a knee (per Us Magazine) and popped the question ― successfully, of course! Bruno Mars’ “Marry You” played as the couple celebrated, People noted.

Haynes publicly came out as gay in May 2016. In February, he took to social media to praise his beau, a florist. “It’s not every day that someone comes into your life & makes you want to be a better man,” Haynes wrote.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Boston Marathon Survivor Is Engaged To Firefighter Who Saved Her Life

Roseann Sdoia, a Boston Marathon bombing survivor, is marrying the firefighter who rescued her on April 15, 2013.

Sdoia had been standing by the finish line of the marathon for about 15 minutes waiting for her friends to cross when her life completely changed.

Shortly after the first pressure cooker bomb went off, a second one, which Sdoia was standing in close proximity to, detonated.

“Initially, I was thinking that I was going to die right there, unless someone helps me,” she told CBC News.

In the hospital, my mom tried to set me up with him
Roseann Sdoia on how her romance with Mike Materia began.

After a stranger made her a tourniquet using his own belt, Mike Materia, a firefighter, saw Sdoia on the ground, swept her off the sidewalk and transported her to the hospital. Along the way he comforted her.

“I asked him if I was going to die. And he told me that I was going to be OK, that I only had a flesh wound,” she told the New York Post.

Her right leg was later amputated due to the severity of her injuries.

Materia came by the hospital a few days later to check in when he caught Sdoia’s mother’s eye.

“In the hospital, my mom tried to set me up with him,” Sdoia told the Post.

Her mother’s persistence paid off, and the two struck up a friendship. In fact, when Sdoia left the hospital about a month later, Materia embraced her in front of a crowd of reporters.

A romance soon blossomed. In early December 2016, Materia proposed with a little help from the couple’s dog, Sal, who wore an engraved tag that read: “Mike wants to know … If you’ll marry him.”

On Feb. 1, the happy couple is celebrating their engagement by participating Empire State Building Run-Up in New York City, in which participants run up the 86 floors, taking more than 1,500 steps to benefit charity.

The couple plans on having a small wedding in October or November, according to the New York Post.

The Huffington Post reached out to Sdoia but did hear back by the time of publication. We will update this story accordingly.

Kirsten Dunst And Jesse Plemons Are Reportedly Engaged

Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst played husband and wife on the FX show “Fargo,” and now it looks like they may be getting married in real life.

Dunst was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Jan. 2 and again a few days later during an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”

Page Six first reported the engagement news. The Huffington Post reached out to Dunst’s rep for comment but had not heard back at the time of publication.

Dunst and Plemons ― who played married high school sweethearts Peggy and Ed Blumquist on season two of “Fargo” ― were first spotted together in Studio City, California in May 2016.

In 2015, Plemons (you may also remember him as Landry on “Friday Night Lights”) had some sweet things to say about his co-star during a FOX411 interview.

“It was a gift,” he said of working with Dunst. “I loved Kirsten’s work for a long time, and I was really excited once I’d met her, and she’s a great person. We’re both actors that just have fun with the material.”

This will be the first marriage for both actors. Dunst split with Garrett Hedlund, her boyfriend of four years, in April of last year.

We have just one thing to say about this wedding: Bring. It. On.

Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert Get Engaged On ‘Bachelor In Paradise’

“Bachelor in Paradise” ended with a bang, as expected.

Contestants Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert got engaged on the finale Monday night. The pair, who dated throughout the entire season, were all smiles as they celebrated on the beach, Jade sporting a new Neil Lane diamond ring on her finger. They stopped by “After Paradise” to chat with hosts Chris Harrison and Jenny Mollen, saying their relationship is better than ever.

“We don’t want to have a long engagement, so …” Jade admitted.

Who knew this would be my last first kiss? #BachelorInParadise

A photo posted by Tanner Tolbert (@tanner_tolbert) on

Other couples decided to take a chance at love outside the show, including Samantha Steffen and Nick Peterson and Cassandra Ferguson and Justin Reich. Oddly enough, it was revealed on “After Paradise” that Cassandra actually didn’t end up with Justin, but another “BIP” contestant – Jonathan Holloway. “It’s been about a month, and we’re taking it as slowly as we can,” Holloway told Harrison.

But not everyone found happiness in paradise. Tenley Molzahn and Joshua Albers decided to go their separate ways, as did Carly Waddell and Kirk Dewindt, who had one of the most dramatic breakups in “Bachelor” history on Sunday night’s episode. Kirk “blindsided” Carly, telling her he didn’t feel as strongly for her as she clearly felt for him, despite the fact that they seemingly had a great connection.

“I had no idea … he never gave me any warning signal at all,” Carly said of the split on “After Paradise.” “My reaction [to the breakup], I think, was very valid.”

Kirk apologized to Carly on the after show, saying that he tried to give their relationship a fair shot before realizing he was “behind.” He also took to Twitter to share his side of the story:

Carly pulled a Taylor Swift and released a song about the on-air breakup:

Ah, the drama never ends. Until next summer …

Criticisms I’ve Faced Because I’m Engaged In My Early Twenties

2015-06-04-1433390335-4565964-10172637_10204096321715178_280355988881912589_n2.jpg

I think a lot of people have misconceptions about women who get engaged in their early twenties, but it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. People have told me that if I get married this young that I won’t be able to enjoy all that life has to offer, but to me it seems that my fiancé helps me enjoy life even more than I did before we started dating.

I’ve heard that women who marry young are somehow incapable of making good decisions or, at least, are not able to make decisions logically. But I tell people love isn’t blind. Jacob and I think very carefully and critically before making important decisions, and getting engaged was no exception.

Some articles I’ve seen about the topic of young engagements focus on the benefits of being able to have children young while you still have plenty of energy to raise them. However, I can’t relate to this particular advantage. I don’t want to have children (in the traditional sense): I want to adopt, but not for at least another fifteen years. I factored in children to make sure Jacob and I are on the same page, but I am not getting married to have them.

Why fifteen years before children? Jacob and I will spend approximately the first ten years of our marriage continuing to pursue higher education. He will go on to earn a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Statistics while I earn a law degree and a Master’s Degree in Latin American & Caribbean Studies. Then both of us hope to start PhD programs. In ten years we will no longer be Mr. & Mrs. but rather Dr. & Dr. Once we build our careers, then we will focus on building a family.

Several women are under the notion that I will suddenly end my higher education goals the day I get married. Trust me, I am a human, not a robot, so getting married will not change me into a baby- making machine who leaves school in the dust. Female hormones are not that powerful people. (And who says women cannot have babies and get their degrees too?) (Or that hormones can make a woman change her mind?) When I am married, even though Jacob and I will be legally, emotionally and financially tied, I will still be my own person with my own unique goals and ambitions. Even better, since Jacob also wants his PhD, we look forward to sharing that experience together.

Another reason that people don’t like couples getting married young is because they think it won’t last. We both have great examples of lasting relationships with our grandparents and parents. If we were not certain about our potential to have a legacy of love then we would not enter into holy matrimony.

People also don’t understand why we would settle down and forgo multiple sexual partners in the future. Once again, we aren’t worried about it. We prefer a committed, monogamous environment even though we are both open people. Because we are so comfortable with each other we never have to leave our safe environment to have fun. It’s just one of the many benefits of unconditional love.

Jacob and I have talked a lot about all of the negative comments we have received when we tell people about our engagement. I was inspired to write this article because most of the negative comments come from strangers and non- immediate family who can’t understand why we would get married so young. Most critics are actually women who don’t mind Jacob getting married young but who mind me getting married young. It’s a huge double standard. It is important for us women to lift each other up even if one of us makes a different choice. This is why I love Amy Poehler’s saying, “Good for her, not for me.” I actually thought a lot about whether or not to even write this article because I don’t like feeling as though I need to explain myself for people to accept and share in my happiness. However, writing is cathartic and once I complied all my thoughts into one place it felt like a huge weight off my shoulders.

Ultimately, I am very proud of all of my life choices so I love spreading happiness around, the engagement included. If I need to explain my experiences so people can empathize with a different point of view, I’m all for it! I hope that by sharing this piece of our lives with you all that it clears up any preconceived notions. We hope you will share joy with us on the happy occasion of our engagement!

Paralyzed Ex-Football Player Chris Norton Walked Again, Graduated And Got Engaged. How Was Your Weekend?

Chris Norton, a former college football player who broke his neck during a game in 2010, said he was given a 3 percent chance of ever regaining movement below his neck.

Over a life-changing weekend, he beat the odds and then some.

On Saturday, he got engaged.

Then on Sunday, Norton walked across the stage at his graduation from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, accomplishing a goal he had set over a year ago. Assisted by his fiancee, Emily Summers, Norton rose from his wheelchair and took steps in front a cheering crowd to receive his diploma in business management, KCCI reported.

It was like my gameday,” Norton, 23, told The Des Moines Register. “I was in the zone, focusing on what I needed to do and not worrying about anyone or anything else.”

According to NBC, Norton has gradually regained movement while in therapy. He’s also launched a foundation called SCI CAN to help finance high-priced equipment for people recovering from spinal injuries. In part to provide inspiration for spinal cord injury patients, he publicly declared he would walk at his ceremony. He completed school a semester early to train for the big moment, the network reported.

When “gameday” arrived, Norton was ready. “So many people, including myself, fear failure, it’s human,” he said to the network. “But if you do everything in your power to accomplish your dreams, at the end of the day, you can be proud and happy with how far you’ve come.”

Getting a life partner and overcoming the odds on graduation day added up to 48 memorable hours. But Norton says we ain’t seen nothing yet.

This is just one chapter of my life that just got closed,” he said in his YouTube graduation video. “And there’s still so many things I can accomplish.”

It Took Getting Engaged For Me To Learn The Truth About Marriage Proposals

2015-05-15-1431713785-1163422-whatgettingengagedtaughtmeabout2.png

Few people get to spend their workdays watching heartfelt proposal videos all day, and I count myself lucky to be one of them. As the Senior Editor of HuffPost Weddings, I also read tons of meet-cute stories, attend bridal fashion shows and scroll through hundreds of gorgeous wedding photos. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it.

When I first started doing this job two years ago, every flash mob, Jumbotron and writing-in-the-sky marriage proposal could bring me to tears. This is the best proposal ever, I thought again and again. How perfectly suited this Bruno Mars song is to marriage proposals! We featured flash mob after flash mob after flash mob. We — and our audience — couldn’t get enough.

Now, as Associate Editor Kelsey Borresen and I joke, it takes a lot to impress us. Run-of-the-mill flash mobs usually result in eye rolls. And don’t even get me started on the latest wave of fake arrest marriage proposals (who wants to be scared to death before one of the happiest moments of your life? No one).

When a staff writer from another department pitches a proposal video, they’ll often tell me it’s the “best marriage proposal ever.” Their copy exudes a lovely naiveté, the writing filled with over-the-top adjectives and pronouncements. I’m not really a fan of calling anything “the best ever.” Certainly there is something out there that is even bigger, better, more meaningful and over the top. Why put all our eggs in one Tiffany blue box — err, basket?

But after my boyfriend of 10 years (hey, I edit HuffPost Divorce too) popped the question recently, it became clear that, in fact, my proposal was the best proposal. He did it in a completely surprising way — on a Friday morning before I had left for the office, during a routine workday task. It was the last story idea in Kelsey’s morning pitch e-mail: High school sweetheart proposes to long-time girlfriend. I clicked and found out that the proposal was mine.

What followed (after the initial crying, tackling him to the floor and calling everyone I know) was a full day of surprises including lunch at our first date spot, dinner with our families (with a surprise visit from my sister, who flew in from Arizona), and a surprise party at my parents’ house with all my closest friends. It was perfect. And everyone I told about my proposal agreed.

In the week after we got engaged, I joked with colleagues that I was going to write a story called “10 Signs My Marriage Proposal Was The Best Proposal Ever” (that, or “Proof That My Marriage Proposal Was The Best Proposal”). What I realized in recounting the story again and again was that my proposal was the best proposal because it was just that — my proposal. My boyfriend — err, fiancé (still getting used to that!) — could have asked me to marry him in any number of ways and all of those ways would have been perfect because he is the perfect person for me, and me for him.

So go ahead — plan an elaborate flash mob, a scavenger hunt or simply roll over in bed and say, “Hey, wanna make this official?” Your marriage proposal will be the best proposal ever because it’s yours. And I promise, no more eye-rolling from me.

He’s been that great motivation behind everything I do.”

The news came as a surprise to her co-hosts on “The Real.” E! News obtained a clip from the show set to air Monday. Bailon made the big reveal to her shocked co-hosts and the audience by flashing her diamond ring.

You’re Engaged, Now What? Six Steps to Take Right After Becoming Engaged

Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time in your life and you don’t want to be stressed out BUT you probably are. You’ve been waiting for him to propose and now that he has, everything is coming at you at high-speed. Many of my clients say that they had an idea of what they wanted their wedding to look like but once they got engaged, all of that went out the window. The engagement period really should be a time to celebrate this next step in your relationship, not a time to be consumed with planning and stress. Here are six planning steps to take within the first month of your engagement that will help take away some of that stress.

1. Pick a date or two. Picking a date gives you direction in the beginning. You may have a venue in mind that you’ve always wanted to be married in but they may be booked on your date. If you’re flexible you may find more success in booking a venue.

2. Sit down with your fiancé and put together a budget. You won’t know exactly what things cost immediately but come up with a number that you are comfortable with spending. If the average cost of a wedding in your city is $ 55,000 but you can only spend $ 30,000, that’s your number. Now is not the time to try to keep up with the Joneses.

3. Hire a wedding planner. It kills me when I hear people say that a friend of a friend or their aunt who “does events” is going to handle their wedding. There is so much more to planning a wedding than fluffing your dress right before you walk down the aisle. We’re here to ensure that you make it TO the aisle! Figure out what the most important things are that you are looking for in a planner and while you’re interviewing, keep those them in mind. Don’t hire someone based solely on their Instagram account or their pricing alone. Ask for references and talk to their previous clients. If you think it’s expensive to hire a professional, try hiring an amateur. Trust me on this one.

4. Find a venue. Your venue will help you determine your guest list. If your dream venue can only hold 100 people but you have at least 200 that you want to invite, keep looking. This part takes a little bit of time because you have to make appointments to see each venue. Put together a list of 3 that you like and start there.

5. Make a guest list. I always tell my clients to make 3 lists. Your first consists of your family and friends who you would put into your lifeboat if you were on a sinking ship. You have limited space on this lifeboat so make those people count. Second, make a list of the people who you would add onto your boat if there were a few extra seats. These are cousins who you talk to at Christmas time and that’s it. You’d like to see them at your wedding but if they aren’t there, it won’t ruin your day. The final list consists of those coworkers who you see 40 hours a week and commiserate about work with but you wouldn’t pick up the phone to call them after 5:00pm. Remember that you have to feed each guest and that’s where a huge chunk of your budget will go. If you wouldn’t pay $ 100 for their meal, don’t invite them. Making a guest list should be taken that seriously.

6. Designate a wedding-free time-zone. As involved as your fiancé may be, he doesn’t want to talk about wedding details every day for the next year. No one wants to do that, not even you. There really isn’t a need to talk about your wedding every day during your engagement. That’s why you hire a planner to handle all of the little details so that your relationship doesn’t become all about your wedding. Remember that you still have to take care of your relationship.

Andi Dorfman Chooses Josh Murray And Gets Engaged On ‘The Bachelorette’ Finale

It’s official: Andi Dorfman has made her choice! Drumroll please … (AND SPOILER ALERT!)

The 27-year-old Atlanta district attorney chose Josh Murray during “The Bachelorette” Season 10 finale on July 28 — and he got down on one knee to propose with a Neil Lane sparkler. So did she say yes? Well, of course she did!

“Andi, you are the answer to all my prayers. You are the woman of my dreams. You are the woman that I never thought existed in this world,” Murray told Dorfman, who was smiling from ear-to-ear.

“I know that feeling from the very first time I saw you, I know that feeling now, is love. It is,” Dorfman gushed. “You’re the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. You’re the one I want to have babies with.”

Murray, 29, is a former professional baseball player who now works as Financial Services Rep for Capstone Financial. And luckily for Dorfman, he also lives in Atlanta.

The runner-up, Nick Viall, was thrown a curveball when he was sent home heartbroken after Dorfman told him their relationship just didn’t “feel right” in a hotel room before the final rose ceremony. Although he received the first impression rose on the series premiere in May, it appears Viall wasn’t the front-runner like he had thought.

Congrats to Andi and Josh! Here’s to another TV wedding …

5 Things You Should Never Say To A Newly Engaged Friend

By Kelly Mallory for KnowMore.tv’s GalTime

Whether you’re single, dating, or married, when your friend shares the news about her engagement, it should be a reason to celebrate, not criticize.

Despite the excitement for your newly-engaged friend, sometimes things might slip out of your mouth that may come from a place of jealousy that you wish you could take back. To help you avoid any awkward and potentially hurtful conversations with your friend, we talked to etiquette expert Lizzie Post, co-author of Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette 6th edition, about the top five things you should never say.

1. “That isn’t the ring you wanted!”

Many women have a “dream” engagement ring, which usually details a certain shape, size and cut. If her S.O. picked out the ring, he must have put time and thought into the ring, along with a hefty paycheck.

“It might not be what she was expecting or what you talked about, but it’s still a sentimental and special piece of jewelry, so you need to be respectful of that,” Post says. Now’s the time to focus on the fact that she got engaged, not the fact that the ring isn’t what she told you she wanted.”

2. “He should have said/done [blank] when he proposed.”

A proposal memory will stay with someone for a lifetime, and it can never be repeated. “Clearly your friend is happy about it, so it’s inappropriate to judge or criticize an experience that’s one of the most important ones in her life,” Post explains.

Instead of correcting the way her S.O. proposed, or what he said during the “Will you marry me?” speech, it’s important to see the inherent romantic quality in the proposal and engagement. Holding expectations for proposals and engagements hurts both your friend and the excitement of the engagement.

3. “It’s about time!”

The issue with this phrase is insinuating that your friend is late to the party. “It’s making her feel like she should have done it a long time ago and it’s not special because they’ve been together for so long,” Post explains. Each relationship follows its own timeline, and unless your engaged friend asks for your opinion, you shouldn’t comment on the stage of the relationship.

The same etiquette holds true even if your friend gets engaged after a month of knowing her partner. While it may seem somewhat rash, an engagement isn’t the right time to criticize the development of a relationship.

4. “I’m so single.”

It can be difficult to have your friend’s relationship grow while you’re still without a boyfriend. But a friend’s engagement doesn’t call for a pity party.

“It’s not about you right now,” Post says emphatically. “It can be about you later.” Don’t say something like, ‘I totally thought I would get engaged first; I’m so happy for you, but sad for me.’” Your friend who’s donning the new bling deserves the spotlight instead of shifting the focus to you. Save the single rant for your other single friends.

5. “Are you sure you want to do this?”

Saying “yes” to a S.O.’s proposal is an important life decision that already requires a lot of discernment. Placing doubt in your friend’s mind by saying things like ,“Are you sure about this?” or “You sure you don’t want to reconsider?” disregards her opinion.

“Now is not the time to be questioning your friend’s motives or decisions,” Post says. “If you’re truly confused or concerned about the engagement, you can talk about it at a different time, but tread carefully.” Being a friend includes trusting your friend’s judgment and accepting her decision.

Katherine Webb And AJ McCarron Are Engaged And That Ring Is HUGE (PHOTOS)

This might break the heart of at least one college football broadcaster, but model Katherine Webb is no longer on the market.

The former Miss Alabama announced her engagement to former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron, 23, on Twitter yesterday. Webb, 24, showed off her gorgeous new diamond ring in a picture posted on her Twitter and wrote “WE’RE ENGAGEDDD!!! @10AJMcCarron.”

The couple started dating in 2012, after Webb graduated from Auburn University, according to The New York Daily News.

The beautiful brunette also tweeted a close-up version of the ring and said “He designed it himself.”

Next up, the couple will find out which team McCarron will be drafted for in May’s NFL Draft.

Webb became an overnight star when veteran ESPN analyst Brent Musburger noticed — and ogled — her during the 2013 BCS National Championship Game between McCarron’s Crimson Tide and Notre Dame.

“Wow, you quarterbacks get all the good looking women. What a beautiful woman, whoa!” Musburger fawned as ESPN cameras showed Webb in the stands. “If you’re a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with pops.”
