Miley Cyrus Marries Liam Hemsworth in Vivienne Westwood

Miley Cyrus wore a made-to-order Vivienne Westwood gown for her wedding to Liam Hemsworth this past weekend.
For the private ceremony held at their home in Franklin, Tenn., on Sunday, Cyrus opted for the Long Cocotte, an off-the-shoulder ivory gown from the British designer. The dress is corseted with draping across the bodice, and goes for $ 8,600 at retail.
Despite having a history of donning wacky, out-there outfits — including a silver belt as a top at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards — the “Younger Now” singer kept her look understated for her wedding (even if it did come from the anti-establishment designer who helped invent the Punk look). In a video posted on Wednesday, Cyrus is seen singing Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” in her dress, wearing spare amounts of jewelry and keeping her hair undone.

Cyrus and Hemsworth were first engaged in 2012, but broke things off in 2013. The couple’s on-again, off-again relationship officially resumed in 2015, and by 2016, Cyrus was rumored to be having dinner with the Australian actor’s family on a regular basis. During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in October of that same year, DeGeneres asked about

Liam Hemsworth Supports Miley Cyrus On Saturday Night Live — See His Surprise Appearance

Come on down, Liam Hemsworth — to studio 8H!

The Aussie actor made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live over the weekend to support fiancée Miley Cyrus, who was the musical guest alongside host Larry David.

During a Price Is Right sketch, Cyrus played an audience member paired with celebrity contestant Chris Hemsworth, portrayed by castmember Alex Moffat.

Cyrus told the faux-elder sibling of her beau, “You’re really cute.”

“Yeah, sorry love, I’m married,” replied Moffat, in character as the actor.

Asked Cyrus in return, “Do you have a brother?”

Later, Hemsworth joined Cyrus and Moffat onstage after the latter said he “phoned a friend.” Together, the trio bid “150 crocodile teeth” to try to make it to the wheel.

The actor also stood alongside Cyrus during the closing bows on the SNL stage.

Both were spotted heading to the sketch series’ afterparty in the early hours of Sunday morning in New York City.

Just last week, the happy could inspired marriage rumors after they were photographed wearing matching bands on their ring fingers.

The longtime loves have yet to tie the knot though — and they’ve been wearing these bands for a while now. Back in August, TMZ reported that Hemsworth, 27, was seen wearing a gold band while spending time with Cyrus’ mother, Tish, in Kentucky. And Cyrus has been spotted wearing a sparkly band on her ring finger since July 2016.

The Family Business! Miley Cyrus Joins Sister Noah and Dad Billy Ray to Sing His Classic ‘Achy Breaky Heart’

Noah Cyrus had a big night Friday opening for Katy Perry on her Witness World Tour at Madison Square Garden in front of the Cyrus clan.

The “Make Me” singer, 17, brought her father, Billy Ray Cyrus onstage with her to perform his hit “Achy Breaky Heart,” the audience got an even bigger surprise when older sister Miley, 24, joined the duo soon after.

The two sisters showed while they may have grown up in Hollywood, they still have some serious country moves, with the duo dancing around as their dad did a guitar solo.

“I’m so excited,” Noah told the audience. “You don’t get your family onstage every day.”

Mom Tish, 50, and sister Brandi, 30, were in the audience watching the performance — this was the family’s first time seeing Noah perform on tour.

“Miley, Dad, Mom, I love you guys,” Noah said from the stage. “Brandi, I love you.”

This was Billy Ray’s, 56, first time performing at Madison Square Garden. Shortly before performing with her father, Noah covered Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons” and brought out producer Labrinth for a performance of her hit single, “Make Me (Cry).”

In June, Noah opened up to PEOPLE about receiving career advice from her big sister.

“Miley says, ‘Just have fun with it,’” Noah said. “Because I worry too much, and Miley is like, ‘You gotta just have fun with it.’”

Later in the show, Perry took a moment to speak from her heart about Sunday’s Las Vegas massacre, the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

“My wish is for some freakin’ peace! Don’t ya think?” the singer, 32, told the audience.

Before performing her 2012 hit “Part of Me,” Perry said, “This is one of my favorite songs to sing — I want to dedicate it to you guys. You chose to come out and overcome this dumb fear. You chose to come into the community of music and to be together… and be inspired.”

Noah Cyrus Reveals the Special Career Advice Big Sister Miley Gave Her

With multiple hit singles and dual upcoming album releases, Miley Cyrus and her younger sister Noah are already ruling the summer music scene.

The twosome performed back-to-back Saturday night at the iHeartSummer ’17 Weekend by AT&T at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and quite literally sang each other’s praises.

Before the show, the sisters spoke about their friendship as well as their summer plans. Noah, 17, told PEOPLE that her sister has given her helpful advice about this stage of her career.

“Miley says, ‘Just have fun with it,’ ” Noah said. “Because I worry too much, and Miley is like, ‘You gotta just have fun with it.’ ”

The younger Cyrus also reflected on her recent rise to fame.

“I’m really excited because I just started in November, and I couldn’t have asked for things to go better,” Noah said. “I just really feel blessed right now for every opportunity I’ve gotten so far.”

As for Miley, 24, she’s focused on her career this summer as well.

“My plans for the summer are pretty much this – going out and performing the song ‘Malibu’, then I go back to The Voice coming up next month,” she said. “We’re doing the blinds, so back to my red chair!”

Miley opened her set on Saturday with her current hit — and ode to fiancé Liam Hemsworth — “Malibu.”

“I’ve played this song ‘Malibu’ everywhere – but it’s always really great when I can play it by the beach,” she told the crowd. “So, I’m happy to be all hot and sweaty with you guys, my hair is extra wild. Who out here’s hair is super f—-ing frizzy?”

The “Wrecking Ball” singer then performed her new single, “Inspired“, telling the crowd, “they told me not to do this, but rebelling is kind of my thing, so let’s do it.”

Miley dedicated the song to the LGBTQ community and explained that proceeds from the song are going to her Happy Hippie Foundation.

RELATED VIDEO: Miley Cyrus and the Happy Hippie Foundation – Exclusive Clip!

“We’ll sing this one with a bunch of love in our hearts for the LGBTQ community,” she told the crowd.

At one point, Miley, dressed in a white t-shirt, jean shorts, and thigh-high boots, brought Noah onstage to help soak the audience with water guns.

The older sister than passed down the torch to Noah.

“Make sure you’re super kind to my little sister who is coming out here to play next, I’ll be here watching,” she told the crowd. Noah immediately returned the favor, telling the crowd, “Miley killed it, right?”

Noah sang “Stay Together,” “I’m Stuck” and “Make Me Cry” as well as covers of “Electric Love” and The Weeknd’s “I Feel it Coming” (which Miley joined her for, as the duo did a little dance together).

The weekend concert series, which will broadcast on the AUDIENCE Network on June 23 and June 24, also featured performances by DJ Khaled, Halsey, Backstreet Boys, Fifth Harmony, Tinashe and Luis Fonsi.

Miley Cyrus Responds To Backlash Over Comments About Hip-Hop Music

Miley Cyrus took to social media Saturday to clarify controversial comments she made about rap and hip-hop music in a recent Billboard cover interview.

After talking to the magazine about her new music and her rekindled love for Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus said she “can’t listen to” rap music anymore.

“That’s what pushed me out of the hip-hop scene a little,” she continued. “It was too much ‘Lamborghini, got my Rolex, got a girl on my cock’ — I am so not that.”

People quickly responded online, criticizing Cyrus for the ease with which she could discard a genre that had demonstrably influenced and propelled her previous public persona.

“When articles are read it isn’t always considered that for hours I’ve spoken with a journalist about my life, where my heart is, my perspective at that time, and the next step in my career,” Cyrus began an Instagram caption posted Saturday. “Unfortunately only a portion of that interview made it to print.”

“To be clear, I respect ALL artists who speak their truth and appreciate ALL genres of music (country, pop, alternative … but in this particular interview I was asked about rap),” she continued. “I have always and will continue to love and celebrate hip hop as I’ve collaborated with some of the very best!”

It sounds like the singer’s intentions were good, but even with the added clarification, Cyrus doesn’t address the crux of much of the criticism — namely, how easily she felt she could don, and subsequently shed, sound and aesthetics borrowed from black culture and music.

During the time of her 2013 release, “Bangerz,” Cyrus capitalized on the rising trap scene to cement her transition from Disney teen to full-fledged adult singer.

As HuffPost’s Zeba Blay pointed out, “What’s incredibly telling is how, once she achieved that success, it seemed like the plan was always to discard hip-hop music and black culture like the costume that it was,” also noting “how convenient it is for her to call out hip-hop’s misogyny” after trafficking in those same tropes for earlier iterations of her act.

Liam Hemsworth Gets a Christmas Kiss from Fiancée Miley Cyrus — and a Simultaneous Snuggle from Mom

Miley Cyrus and fiancé Liam Hemsworth don’t need mistletoe to share a smooch.

The Australian actor, 26, shared a lighthearted photo on Monday of him, Cyrus and his mother, Leonie. In the snap with his two top ladies, Cyrus planted a kiss on Hemsworth’s cheek while decked out in a festive patterned dress with a furry light blue coat, accessorized with a red ribbon in her hair. Meanwhile Leonie smiled as she rested her head on her son’s shoulder.

Hemsworth smirked and pointed at the camera in the photo he simply captioned, “Whatever.”

Cyrus, 24, and Hemsworth have been full of holiday cheer recently. Earlier this week, the couple celebrated Christmas early with the Cyrus family, including the singer’s mom and dad — Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus — and siblings Trace, Noah, Brandi and Braison (and some furry friends).

Cyrus wore her finest festive onesie as she and Liam posed for the family photo. “Cyrus fam Christmas in full swing,” Brandi captioned the Dec. 20 photo she shared to Instagram.

It was then time for a Hemsworth gathering featuring Liam’s fellow movie star brother Chris and his wife Elsa Pataky.

Sporting a sexy Mrs. Claus look, Cyrus smiled bright as she embraced her future sister-in-law.

“Fun Christmas Party with my family!” Pataky captioned the Christmas Eve selfie. “Happy Christmas!”

And on the big day itself, Cyrus proudly showed off Liam’s homemade gift to her — a set of rainbow moon earrings.

Christina Aguilera Impersonates Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus & Others In ‘The Voice’ Promo

We all know that Christina Aguilera does one hell of a Britney Spears impression, but this is a little different.

In a promo for “The Voice,” which will crown its Season 8 winner on tonight’s finale, the 34-year-old singer impersonates Cher, Miley Cyrus, Sia, Lady Gaga, Shakira and Britney Spears.

Aguilera has a knack for impressions as we first learned during her turn hosting “Saturday Night Live” back in 2004, and she previously impressed “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” viewers with her spot-on impression of Spears’ singing voice, but this time around her take on the pop princess isn’t the most flattering.

“The Voice” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m.on NBC.

Why This Mom Is Calling Miley Cyrus a Hero

2015-05-08-1431122315-6935675-Miley.jpg

Say what you will about Miley Cyrus but the girl has the ability to accumulate press. And, what I’ve always loved about her, even when her actions made me cringe, is that she didn’t seem to care what other people said or thought. That kind of self-confidence, especially in a girl that age, always blew me away.

But, now she just because my freaking hero.

Have you heard of The Happy Hippie Foundation yet? If not, I want you to finish reading this sentence and take the link to read about it. I’ll be right here when you come back.

Did you read about it? Can you understand why I am moved to tears by her work? She outlines how 40 percent of homeless youth identify as LGBT and how 1 in 3 transgender youth have been turned away from shelters. She has started an organization to directly help homeless youth, LGBT youth, and other vulnerable populations achieve positive outcomes in their lives.

And Miley isn’t just talk. She raised over $ 200,000 in 24 hours for My Friend’s Place, an organization dedicated to helping homeless youth. I can’t even read their description of homeless youth statistics without getting choked up.

Miley’s marketing for her foundation is smart. She’ll be having backyard jam sessions with huge names like Joan Jett and posting them on Facebook to help raise awareness. Um, can you get any cooler than Joan Jett??

Somewhere along the way, little Hannah Montana has grown up to be a young woman who has the world’s attention with a voice on very adult issues. Her recent interview in Out magazine painted the picture of a young woman coming into her own with a desire to use her influence to change the world for youth.

As the parent of a transgender 9-year-old girl, I was excited to share that Miley is very aware of gender issues and embraces a life free from the boxes we traditionally put people into. From the Out Magazine article:

“Miley says she already spent a lot of time struggling with traditional gender expectations–and being resentful that she was a girl. “I didn’t want to be a boy,” she clarifies. “I kind of wanted to be nothing. I don’t relate to what people would say defines a girl or a boy, and I think that’s what I had to understand: Being a girl isn’t what I hate, it’s the box that I get put into.”

My daughter didn’t know who Hannah Montana was (we missed that by a few years) but she was very aware of who Miley Cyrus was. I wish I could have captured the grin that spread across her face when I shared the news with her. Though my daughter identifies strongly as a female, I have a heart for gender-fluid individuals and feel that they are desperately underrepresented and face even more barriers. I’m so happy that Miley has been open and rather candid about her wish not to be put into a binary box.

Thank you, Miley. I am truly impressed with your work and I’m thrilled that my daughter can call you a role model.

Yep, I just said that. And meant it.

Why Miley Cyrus Is This Woman’s Non-Straight, Non-Binary Role Model

By Kelsey Marshall for YourTango.com

If you haven’t heard, Miley has been up to a lot more than sticking her tongue out and hanging out in her underwear.

In the course of two short days, Miley has kicked-off her foundation for homeless LGBT youth, the Happy Hippie Foundation, and given an interview to Out magazine where she discussed not identifying with any particular gender. She also cavalierly stated she’s had sexual relationships with women.

Miley isn’t playing around anymore. And I’m very happy about it.

 I’m downright enthusiastic.

In the wake of the complete Bruce Jenner tabloid debacle and subsequent (incredibly powerful and inspiring) interview, gender identity has been forced into the forefront of the public debate.

This is no less than amazing. This is something we should ALL be talking about.

Now more than ever, black and white are your two options for any kind of opinion. You either love the Kardashians or you hate them. The dress is either black and blue or it’s white and gold. Everyone should have guns or no one should.

Comment culture has made us into a strongly-opinionated fleet that leaves no room for middle ground. The Internet has taken something extremely valuable away from us: it’s taken away our gray area.

I don’t mean for this to be taken out of context. I am not referring to a gray area between right and wrong, between yes and no. I’m not referring to a gray area where I say one thing and mean another.

I’m talking about a gray area of identity and ownership.

What Miley is doing is perfectly demonstrating how to mean what you say and expect no less than to be taken seriously for it.

When she says she doesn’t identify as a girl or a boy, that in fact she would rather identify as nothing, then that’s exactly what she is. Even calling her “gender-queer” is a bit of a stretch, since she’s not using that word to describe herself.

It’s a complicated thing for a celebrity to identify themselves. No doubt Miley’s words will be taken out of context, flipped, stretched and contorted beyond recognition.

But she doesn’t care — and that’s a very valuable lesson.

Young people, especially young women, grow up with so much uncertainty. We’re told who to listen to, who to admire, what behavior is “slutty” and what behavior will grant us access to a life deemed acceptable.

There’s not a lot of room for understanding your own body, your own intentions, desires and goals.

You’re identified at birth with a gender that carries an incredible amount of social weight. And for some, that weight is so heavy that suicide is the only answer.

When you’re faced with so many decisions that already seem made for you, right down to your gender identity, speaking your own truth is an incredibly terrifying task.

When Bruce Jenner spoke out about his transition to becoming a woman, he was called attention-seeking. Yet, he did it anyway and adamantly. No one should have to be concerned with the outcome of their truthful words or how others might hear them.

The part that matters is the truth.

I can understand Miley’s struggle with gender. I’m a lesbian, and gender and identity is something I struggle with every day. To hear a young woman who faces so much criticism in her everyday life state, “I don’t relate to what people would say defines a girl or a boy, and I think that’s what I had to understand: Being a girl isn’t what I hate; it’s the box that I get put into” is incredibly powerful to me.

In fact, it’s freeing.

It isn’t just young people she’s standing up for. It’s every single person that’s ever felt stifled by an identity they were assigned at birth or even an identity they gave themselves. It’s standing up for me and the times when I want to agree that I find a man sexually attractive and don’t say it, in fear that I’ll misrepresent my own identity.

Miley isn’t representing or misrepresenting any identity. She’s just being herself.

Whatever label you put on yourself or the world puts on you, it doesn’t mean half as much as the what you feel inside and your pride to express every worthy thought you have.

Because we’re all worthy of that — celebrity or not. We’re worthy enough to be proud of what makes us unique and what makes us not quite fit into a box. We’re worthy enough to find our own identity and be okay with the parts of ourselves that still might not fit tidily under that umbrella.

What we really need to learn is this: labels and identities aren’t one-size-fits-all. Neither are people.

You’re never going to be just one thing — and that’s f*cking awesome.

Miley Cyrus Enters Bondage-Themed Video In Porn Festival

Miley Cyrus has entered one of her music videos in a porn festival.

The New York Post reports that the 21-year-old singer submitted her bondage-themed video for “Tongue Tied” in the first-ever NYC Porn Film Festival.

Directed by mixed-media artist and filmmaker Quentin Jones, Cyrus first released the video last May. It played as an intro to Cyrus’ show before she took the stage during her Bangerz tour last year.

The two-minute clip features a nearly nude Cyrus smearing herself with black oil as she writhes to the music, but festival-goers will see an extended cut that runs nearly twice as long as the original video, this according to the listing on the festival’s website.

“It’s a pop take on S&M,” festival founder Simon Leahy told the Post. “[Cyrus is] starting to become more of a contemporary artist.”

The NYC Porn Film Festival runs from Feb. 27 to March 1 in Bushwick, and also features a screening of former reality star Tila Tequila’s award-winning video from Vivid Entertainment, “Tila Tequila: Backdoored & Squirting.”

Miley Cyrus Denies Drug Overdose Put Her In The Hospital

With Miley Cyrus about to restart her Bangerz tour on May 6, she’s speaking out against rumors that it was a drug overdose that put her in the hospital, forcing her to cancel several shows.

“I’m the poster child for good health,” the 21-year-old said at a press conference at the O2 arena in London on Tuesday. “You have no idea how ready I am. There is nothing I would rather not do than lay in a bed for two weeks. It was the most miserable two weeks of my life.”

Cyrus has repeatedly vocalized how “devastated” she was to cancel shows, and took the opportunity to clear the air amid rumors as to what really sent her to the hospital on April 15.

“I didn’t have a drug overdose. I took some shitty antibiotics that a doctor gave me for a sinus infection and I had a reaction,” Cyrus told the press.

The “We Can’t Stop” singer said she’s now feeling “better than ever,” and that the experience taught her a lot about taking care of herself.

“I’m probably the only one on this tour who doesn’t drink or smoke before a show, as I take this really seriously,” Cyrus said. “It’s almost like being an athlete being up here, because if someone was f–ked up, they definitely couldn’t do my show.”

Cyrus previously opened up about her hospitalization telling Ryan Seacrest, “It was so scary … I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn’t know I was really scary allergic to. I was on this medicine for five days and everything was all good and on the sixth day, I just woke up … I couldn’t breath and my skin — everything — was going insane.”
