Jordan Brand Taps Jayson Tatum as Ambassador

SLAM DUNK: Leveraging the buzz from Paris Fashion Week Men’s, Jordan Brand on Friday announced the addition of Jayson Tatum and Rui Hachimura to its roster of basketball ambassadors.
With rows of white balls on sticks greeting visitors, the event took place in a hôtel particulier in the city’s 5th arrondissement dubbed the House of Jumpman, featuring a makeshift faux basketball court in the courtyard.
“I’ve been wearing Jordans since before I could walk…just getting [Michael Jordan’s] approval to come to the brand was really big for me because he’s the greatest of all time,” Tatum told WWD.
The St. Louis native, who was selected third overall in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics, joins a family of more than 50 athlete ambassadors linked to the Nike Inc.-owned brand across multiple sporting disciplines, including Maya Moore, Kemba Walker and Blake Griffin, who were also present at the event.
The slickly groomed and heavily inked Tatum, who sported a pair of neon yellow “Flyknit 4s” by the brand, hinted at his own design aspirations. “Coming over to Jordan, there’s a lot of creativity. I definitely want to tap into that and tell my own stories,” he said.

Channing Tatum Wishes Ex Jenna Dewan ‘Happy Mother’s Day, Baby’ as Split Remains ‘Amicable’

No Mother’s Day drama here!

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan‘s post-split holiday was smooth sailing, with a source telling PEOPLE the stars are still “very amicable.”

“Evie spent Mother’s Day weekend with Jenna while Channing was traveling,” the insider says of their daughter Everly, who turns 5 later this month.

Despite no longer being together, Tatum, 38, shared a message for Dewan, 37, on his Instagram Story, Sunday.

“Happy Mother’s Day everybody,” he said in a video taken in the desert, which he has called his “sanctuary” after the split. “Jenna, happy Mother’s Day, baby. Mama, happy Mother’s Day — I hope you’re enjoying this beautiful sunset. Love you guys.”

The holiday weekend came just six weeks after the former pair announced their separation following nearly nine years of marriage.

A reality insider previously told PEOPLE on April 23 that the split has “been hard for Channing.” Now, though, the first source says, “He’s adjusting better to the separation and is keeping busy with his friends and work.”

In addition to spending part of the holiday weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway Park outside of Los Angeles, Tatum, has “been traveling a ton between CinemaCon commitments and for his vodka company,” Born and Bred, the source says.

As for his communication with Dewan, the source tells PEOPLE, “He and Jenna are still on the same page when it comes to their daughter and they’re always in touch about her.”

“Their relationship continues to be very amicable,” the source adds.

“We started out as friends, and I would say it was an instant recognition,” Dewan recently shared in the cover story for the 15th-anniversary issue of Vegas magazine — her first since the split.

“When we met , it felt like we had known each other for many years. Ultimately, no matter what Chan and I are doing, we’re really great friends. I think that will never change, no matter what,” she added.

Still, both are showing signs that they’re moving on. Three weeks after the pair announced their split, Dewan changed her name on social media from “Jenna Dewan Tatum” back to “Jenna Dewan.”

A source close to the couple previously told PEOPLE the pair tried to make things work after “growing apart” over the past year.

“They really wanted to make their marriage work,” said the source. “But neither of them are people who will stay in something that isn’t fully right.”

Jenna Dewan Twerks Through Her ‘Late-Night’ Fitness Routine Following Split from Channing Tatum

It’s never a bad time for Jenna Dewan to sneak in a sweat session.

The Step Up star, who recently announced her split from husband Channing Tatum after nearly nine years of marriage, hit the gym after dark for an intense workout with trainer JJ Dancer.

“Late night gym sessions with @iamjjdancer are NO JOKE,” she captioned a preview of her routine on Instagram. But the real action was captured in a workout video posted to YouTube, featuring the 37-year-old actress mastering barbell hip thrusts, hanging tuck ups, dumbbell rows, deadlifts and more.

Despite putting all of her energy into the exercises, Dewan couldn’t help but pull out a few dance moves to the music. After lunges, the dancer looks at the camera and does a body roll, and there is plenty of twerking from both Dewan and her trainer.

“I’m officially dead,” the sweaty star says afterward. “Thank you JJ Dancer for the late night workout. Mama’s gotta get it in!”

Dewan stepped out on Friday night to attend the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s fifth annual Hope and Heritage gala, where she received the organization’s 2018 research award during her first public appearance since PEOPLE exclusively confirmed on April 2 that the couple was separating.

She walked the red carpet in an eye-catching black Zuhair Murad gown featuring beaded floral appliqués and a feather-lined matching cape. She accessorized the look with purple earrings and a yellow floral and green ring.

“Thank you @stjude for this incredible honor!” Dewan wrote on Instagram later, captioning a photo of herself and the glass trophy. “I am so proud of everything you do and continue to do for children.”

In a statement to PEOPLE on April 2, Dewan and Tatum, 38, announced they were going their separate ways.

We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple,” the pair said, later sharing the same statement on their Twitter and Instagram pages. “There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”

The former couple first met on the set of their 2006 movie Step Up and tied the knot in 2009. Both share daughter Everly, who will turn 5 in May.

Since jointly announcing their plan to separate, Dewan has been spotted attending workout classes and returning to work on her upcoming project Mixtape.

She’s also slowly returned to social media, even removing her married last name from her accounts. Last week, she updated Instagram with her first post since the separation. “Thank you guys for all your love. Love you right back,” she wrote alongside a beach snap.

A source close to both Dewan and Tatum told PEOPLE on Monday that he was having a tough time adjusting to their separation.

“He always had Jenna and their family to go home to, so having their separation be ‘official’ now has been a big adjustment to for him,” the insider said.

A second source told PEOPLE, “Jenna has a super-packed schedule and a ton of girlfriends to lean on and spend time with. Her life isn’t really changing… if anything, she’s just busier.”

Danskin on Wednesday will debut its fall 2017 “Fit for Everything” campaign featuring brand ambassador Jenna Dewan Tatum wearing its debut collection of intimates and loungewear.
“What’s really exciting to me about our ‘Fit for Everything’ campaign is that it’s so true to how I live my life. Dressing for day-to-night became a necessity when I became a mom, and I wear my Danskin from taking my daughter to school, to running errands, to date night or girl’s night out. We really wanted to capture that essence in this shoot,” said Dewan Tatum, who is a producer and host of NBC’s “World of Dance.”
Yu Tsai shot the campaign at a seaside Malibu, Calif., mansion, with Dewan Tatum practicing yoga on the balcony in leggings, relaxing in a bodysuit and joggers in the kitchen, and lounging in a coordinating bralette and high-waisted panty set. The actress-dancer was also photographed doing a “tree pose” on the beach while wearing an olive-toned leotard with laser-cut details. Danskin will also debut sleepwear and shapewear this fall.
“As an entrepreneur and mom-on-the-go, Jenna truly exemplifies the modern spirit of our fall collection, which is designed to meet the needs of Danskin’s contemporary consumer, whose wardrobe needs to

Channing Tatum And Adam Driver Are Your New Favorite Criminals

Channing Tatum and Adam Driver are the comedy duo we deserve.

In “Logan Lucky,” they play Southern nitwits turned criminal masterminds who hatch a plan for a detailed heist during a NASCAR race.

The first “Logan Lucky” trailer previews Steven Soderbergh’s first film since the director said he would retire from filmmaking in 2013. Soderbergh has described the project as an “anti-glam version of an ‘Ocean’s’ movie.”

Riley Keough plays the protagonists’ sister, who joins their scheme with the help of Joe Bang (Daniel Craig), a prison inmate who knows a thing or two about blowing up bank vaults. Also on hand to test out their Southern charm: Hilary Swank, Katherine Waterston, Katie Holmes, Seth MacFarlane, Sebastian Stan and Jim O’Heir.

“Logan Lucky” opens Aug. 18.

Jenna Dewan Tatum Reveals She Dated Justin Timberlake After Britney Spears Breakup

Jenna Dewan Tatum and Justin Timberlake go way back. In fact, they even had a short-lived fling.

During an appearance on Sunday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” the “Step Up” star ― and former *NSYNC backup dancer ― confirmed that she and Timberlake dated just after the “Suit and Tie” singer’s highly publicized breakup with pop princess Britney Spears

“We were, like, friends that then dated and we’re just really good friends now,” Dewan Tatum explained, noting that she was definitely not the rebound.

“We’re still good friends. It’s not as salacious as everyone thinks,” she added.

However, Dewan Tatum’s connection to Timberlake was significant enough to be included in Lifetime’s terrible Spears biopic released earlier this year.

The film led us all to believe that JT and Spears had a tense dance-off in a club while Timberlake was at a club with Dewan Tatum a couple months after his split from the pop star. As much as we hoped there was some truth to Lifetime’s tale, “The World of Dance” host confirmed that, sadly,it never really happened.

“Okay, so this dance-off situation is … it never happened, people!” the actress told a viewer who phoned in to ask about the rumored incident. “It was in tabloids and everyone thought that this happened. And I really wish I could say that that happened because that would be the coolest story in the world. It would be so awesome. I wish I could say that, but no, it never happened.”

We really wish it happened, too.

Channing Tatum And Jenna Dewan’s Daughter Had The Best Reaction To ‘Step Up’

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan clearly have a funny little girl on their hands.

During an interview with HuffPost on Build Series Friday, Dewan told a funny story about the first time the couple’s almost 4-year-old daughter, Everly, watched “Step Up.” It was accidental, and it didn’t go over too well.

As the “World of Dance” host and mentor explains it, the family was vacationing in Mexico when they turned on the TV and “Step Up” came on.

“It was so funny, we were like, ‘Everly, Everly, look! It’s mommy and daddy!’ At first she didn’t think it was us,” Dewan said. “She’s like, ‘That’s not you guys.’ And I’m like, ‘No, it’s us, Evie, it’s me!’ And then she goes, ‘Can we watch something good?’ Just like that, and we were humbled. One day she’ll maybe appreciate it on a different level, but yeah, she’s not so into it.”

We had to. #stepup10years

A post shared by Jenna Dewan Tatum (@jennadewan) on

To be honest, both Channing and Jenna are a little iffy about watching their on-screen performances in the 2006 film, which launched their careers and their relationship.

“We both cringe because … we’re just so baby new ― our acting, we’re like, ‘What are we doing there?!’ Dewan joked. “It’s so sweet. We were talking about it the other day, like, ‘Do we remember that routine at the end?’ I think when it was the 10-year anniversary we did the lift outside in our yard just to prove that we could still do it!” (They can still do it — watch the video above.

As for that other dance movie her dad’s in, Everly will “have a lot of questions” when she finally gets to see it, Dewan says.

“We got to show [’Magic Mike’] to her before one of her friends at school is like, ‘I saw this movie your dad’s in…’ She’s been at rehearsals so there’s a part of her that probably gets it.”

Snoopy and Belle Exhibit Returns to U.S. With Rachel Zoe, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Colleen Atwood Designs

DOG’S DAY: Snoopy and Belle are back on the fashion circuit, and this time they’re taking it to the masses with a retail bent. The “Snoopy & Belle in Fashion” project, which debuted at the Louvre in 1984 with nearly four dozen outfits designed by everyone from Karl Lagerfeld to Gianni Versace, has been on a nonstop worldwide museum tour ever since. Its last iteration celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2014 with new designers such as Isaac Mizrahi and Rodarte coming into the mix, and others such as Diane von Furstenberg and Betsey Johnson, who were part of the original exhibit, creating a second set of costumes.

Interior Designer Tatum Kendrick Opens Fashion Boutique in Los Angeles

Tatum Kendrick is making a loop from fashion to interior design and back to fashion via her new boutique in Los Angeles.
On a gritty stretch between downtown and the hipster haven of Silver Lake, behind a black iron door shaped like a woman’s hourglass silhouette, the former DKNY publicist is putting the final touches on You’re So Baby before unveiling it to the public on Dec. 1. Reflecting what she dubs “the edgy, sexy, feminine point of view, rather than California cool,” which is the raison d’être of many retailers here, the 900-square-foot shop in Echo Park is decorated like an inviting apartment inhabited by a woman who assuredly mixes blush pink floors with a leopard spot couch.
In addition to vintage Cartier lighters and jewelry by Hervé Van der Straeten and Gabriela Artigas, Kendrick also offers lingerie by Bordelle and TyLynn Nguyen, fragrances from Serge Lutens and erotic wallpaper drawn by Natalie Krim. In her pursuit of exclusive fashion finds, she experiments with collaborations, like a cashmere-mohair cropped sweater designed by Grant Knits, made unique to the store with balloon sleeves and crocheted edges. She does draw a line where it comes to denim and other sporty looks that are

Here’s Channing Tatum. In High School. Wearing A Thong.

The year was 1998, and Channing Tatum was a spry young high school student who liked to compete in bodybuilding competitions. In this photo, you can see the now-35-year-old actor doing a bit of preparation for his future role as a male stripper (both in real life and on the big screen in Magic Mike); he’s wearing a tiny black thong while flexing his muscles on stage, standing next to his equally good-looking opponent.

Channing Tatum ‘F–king’ Hated ‘G.I. Joe’

In terms of words that can come out of an actor’s mouth, there’s nothing more beautiful than when someone decides to crap all over one of their own movies. And yet, it happens so very rarely.

But on Tuesday, the talented and beautiful Channing Tatum dropped truth bombs left and right, that could be described as gifts to the world, during his appearance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show.

The 35-year-old revealed that he “fucking” hated 2009’s “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” but got roped into doing the movie due to a contractual obligation to Paramount Pictures.

“Look, I’ll be honest. I fucking hate that movie. I hate that movie. I was pushed into doing that movie … [After] ‘Coach Carter,’ they signed me for a three-picture deal … And as a young [actor], you’re like, ‘Oh my God, that sounds amazing, I’m doing that!'” Tatum explained that after his career picked up, the studio called him up and told him, “‘Hey, we got a movie for you. We’re gonna send it to you.’ And it’s ‘G.I. Joe.'”

Tatum didn’t tiptoe around dishing out the problems with the movie, which was critically panned, either. “The script wasn’t any good. I didn’t want to do something that I thought was 1) bad, and, 2) I just didn’t know if I wanted to be G.I. Joe.”

Meanwhile, the “Magic Mike XXL” star was only slightly more subtle when a fan asked what we’ve all been wondering — “‘Jupiter Ascending’ What was that?” — during a Reddit AMA last week.

“Great question. I have the same one to myself,” he replied — a comment which speaks volumes.
