Telfar Clemens Teases First Paris Show with Brooklyn Film Screening

Designer Telfar Clemens gathered a cool crowd to 99 Scott in East Williamsburg on Friday night for a taste of what he will present at his runway show opening Paris Fashion Week Sept. 24. Guests got their first glimpse of the designer’s new collection in a six-minute clip of a film scripted by “Slave Play” writer Jeremy O. Harris and artist Juliana Huxtable that will be shown in Paris as part of the show. “Are you a citizen of united communities?” was one of question posed in the dialogue as characters walked through airport security, or stood on buoys in open water with the Manhattan skyline behind them. “I think one guy fell in,” said model Aheem Sosa, watching himself on screen, and stealing a few photos (guests were told not to take photos to keep things under wraps until Paris.) “The way he portrays black people is unique,” Sosa said of what he likes about Clemens. “…You don’t have to be a black gay man or a black straight man you can just be yourself.” Clothes spotted amidst the on-screen action? Utility pieces, thigh-hole track pants and Budweiser silk print shirts alongside Telfar’s new jewelry range that plays on his initials “TC,” and

Renzo Rosso Teases Diesel Campaign About Hate

LOVE IT OR HATE IT: Diesel’s Renzo Rosso showed up at the Maison Margiela show on Wednesday wearing a T-shirt that said “Haute Couture” — only with the “u” crossed out so it read “Hate Couture.”
The slogan was a teaser for Diesel’s fall campaign, the label said in a statement given exclusively to WWD. “Diesel’s Haute Couture will be a bold message toward haters worldwide — and an invitation for everyone to step up, face and own the negative messages we receive every day,” it said.
The campaign is a statement against today’s trolling culture, explained Rosso, whose OTB group owns Maison Margiela.
“Diesel is a brand that has always done something, provocative, crazy, with irony, and of course the irony today is to take away the ‘u’ and becoming ‘a’ and doing more to play with the ‘hate,’” he told WWD before the show.
“There’s so much hate on social, so many people want to say ‘bulls–t’ against the others, but today we take the opportunity of haute couture to rebalance with the hate,” he added.
The ads will be revealed on Sept. 1, Rosso said, promising: “This campaign will be a supermagic atomic bomb, something incredible.”
Diesel was so confident of the online reaction

On the other side, it provides details of the show, to be held at 3 p.m. at Gucci’s headquarters in Milan. As with past Gucci invitations, the designer’s lucky number — 25 — appears on the bag.

The other side of Gucci’s invitation.

Stefano Pilati Teases Upcoming Collection on Instagram, Again

PILATI’S ENCORE: Stefano Pilati has taken to Instagram Stories for the second time, revealing teaser images that suggest that his latest fashion project — revealed in June — is progressing, although he has yet to detail plans for it.
“For the second Instagram Stories story of Random Identities, the focus is on the fashion, as in the art used as the background of the 15 looks,” Pilati said to WWD over e-mail. He was referring to the images of his models, who are posed in front of artworks. “The brand concept is still in development and once more, the clothes aren’t for sale. #itisnotaboutsilhouettes #artbystefanopilati.”
Pilati plans to post 15 looks. The first ones include some male models wearing women’s clothes and some women wearing men’s wear. They are wearing trousers, coats and knee-length skirts in a palette of black, white, khaki and denim — and a little bit of brown. He also showed a striped leather bomber, slim suits, a belted dress, button-down shirts, sweaters as well as T-shirts.
It is understood that the artworks in the background were created by Pilati in the Nineties, before he embarked on his fashion career.

Hiss! Taylor Swift Teases Return with Yet Another Slithery Social Media Tease

Taylor Swift has returned — to social media, at least.

Three days after going dark on social media, the popstar reopened her accounts Monday morning, though the purpose remains murky thus far.

Swift shared a mysterious 10-second video on her social media accounts at 11 a.m. — her first post since her accounts were scrubbed on Friday. The distorted, silent clip appears to depict a snake tail (though some social media users also compared the image to a cat or dragon tail). Swift presented the footage without any caption. A second, longer clip — with another piece of the tail — went up at 11 a.m. Tuesday. In the latest post, which went up at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the serpent’s head was revealed.

The strange clips come as speculation swirls that Swift is preparing to release her sixth studio album and first full-length record since 2014’s massive 1989. Last Friday, she caused a fan frenzy as she removed her profile pictures from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and deleted all her posts from Instagram and Twitter. Rumor has it the new song may debut Friday, along with a music video, followed by an MTV VMAs appearance on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Swifties have been impatiently anticipating new solo music from the Grammy winner, who previously released a new album every two years.

Rumors have percolated that Swift may share a new song at 2 p.m. ET on Monday. Some have suggested that this timing was designed to coincide with the solar eclipse. (However, as of 3:15 p.m. EST, Swift had yet to share anything more.)

“Wildest Dreams” director Joseph Kahn retweeted the clip with a simple smiley face, then added, “In 30 minutes, as a show of power, Taylor Swift will blot out the sun.”

RELATED VIDEO: Will Taylor Swift Be Releasing New Album?

Aside from a high-profile trial in Denver against David Mueller, a former radio deejay host who was recently found guilty of assault and battery against Swift for groping her during a meet-and-greet photo session in 2013, the star has been largely under the radar.

A source told PEOPLE in May Swift — who wrote Little Big Town’s “Better Man” last year and released her hit song “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” (with Zayn Malik) in January — was hard at work on her new music.

“She is very excited about her new album,” said the source. “She can’t wait to share with her fans later this year.”

The star told Vogue in 2016 she was “going to live my life a little bit without the pressure on myself to create something” and focus on some short-term goals, like learning how to make a “good drink” and getting CPR-certified.

Little Nightmares is likely getting a new playable character in addition to Six.

Bandai Namco and Tarsier Studios teased the new boy in a recently released accolades trailer for Little Nightmares, which can be seen below. The end of the video shows Six looking at a dark-haired kid.

So far, there’s no official word on who exactly the boy is, but speculation suggests it’s a character that Six passed during the main game, possibly even a child from the dormitory area early in Little Nightmares.

There is no release date mentioned for the DLC. For more on the game, be sure to check out IGN’s Little Nightmares review.

Gucci Teases Upcoming Campaign on Instagram

Gucci’s upcoming campaign seems to involve spirit animals and a lot of dancing. Last week the fashion house released nine short videos of young men and women during a casting in London to appear in the label’s new pre-fall 2017 ad campaign.
Aged 19 to 23, the protagonists of the clips are asked different questions, including “what’s your spirit animal?” and “what does it mean to have a soul?” before showing their dancing skills on Duke Browner’s track “Crying Over You.”

While the answers are all different and peculiar, listing elephants, bulls, tigers and baby giraffes as spirit animals and highlighting how having a soul means “to be you in the purest form,” the nine modeling newcomers all share the trait of being people of color, which may hint at a pre-fall campaign celebrating diversity.

The tease has already sparked a strong social media reaction, dividing the audience into supporters of the concept, who find it fun and inspiring, and into those who consider the choice of casting exclusively people of color not diverse enough.

*NSYNC Teases Reunion At ‘Saturday Night Live’ 40th Anniversary

It’s bye, bye, bye to your other weekend plans.

The “Saturday Night Live” 40th anniversary special was already going to be huge, but a possible *NSYNC reunion just made it must-see TV. The band’s official Twitter account gave fans the best Valentine’s Day present ever on Saturday by hinting that the boys may reunite on the show this Sunday:

*NSYNC got back together briefly at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, with all the original members reuniting to perform in honor of Justin Timberlake receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. However, subsequent interviews put future reunions in doubt.

*NSYNC’s reps did not immediately respond to a request for comment from HuffPost Entertainment.

If the band does get back together for the special on Sunday, they’ll join the likes of Paul McCartney, Kanye West and Taylor Swift at the show. And if not, they’ll just be tearin’ up our hearts.
