How Avengers: Endgame Subtly Sets Up a New Villain

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Avengers: Endgame!

Avengers: Endgame may not be the first MCU movie to deal with the concept of time travel, but it certainly makes full use of that popular sci-fi trope. And as Marty McFly will tell you, the problem with time travel is that it’s hard to put the genie back in the bottle. Now that the Avengers have bent the MCU timeline to their will, they may be dealing with the ramifications and unintended consequences for a long time to come.

With that in mind, we can’t help but wonder if this is the first step toward introducing one of the biggest Avengers villains of them all. Could Kang the Conqueror be joining the MCU? Here’s why we think Endgame could be setting up Kang for a major role in Phase 4 and beyond.

Black Panther Footage Revealed Costume, Villain Details

Marvel Studios screened never-before-seen footage exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con attendees at their Black Panther presentation Saturday.

The footage shown was from a sequence set in South Korea. The whole thing had a very James Bond vibe to it as we saw T’Challa, along with Nakia and Okoye, in formal, but civilian attire at a casino shadowing arms dealer Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis, reprising his role from Avengers: Age of Ultron). Martin Freeman’s Civil War character, government agent Everett K. Ross, is also there and has a scene with Klaue.

Ross teases Klaue for arriving with such a large group. “You’ve got quite the entourage. You got a mixed tape coming out?” There’s a shadowy deal going down between Ross and Klaue, with the former trading diamonds for the vibranium the latter possesses. Klaue unzips his trousers and pulls out a parcel of it through his fly to the disgust of Ross.

Whoa, Elsa Might Actually Be The Villain In ‘Frozen’

Remember how the people of Arendelle freaked out when they found out Elsa had ice powers in “Frozen“? And you’re all like, “Chill, people. She’s cool.”

Well, what if they actually had a point?

The latest video from YouTubers BloodBlitz Comedy imagines what it’d be like if Elsa actually was the monster everyone thought she was. And the girl is scary.

There’s definitely a lot more bloodshed in the vid than we remember in the movie, but the YouTubers also made a video turning Harry Potter into a villain, so at least Elsa has some good bad company.
